Watching drama makes me soften my heart and have a teary eyes easily, I don't know why but i'm immediately got affected with the emotions being portrayed. They said Maybe it is because of the them song and the rhythm that really makes me burst out my emotions, well They are partly correct.Other's said probably because of the experiences in life that i've been through all these years. How about you?

No. I don't watch dramas. I dunno why I just fond of watching musical shows like MTV, The Voice, American Idol. I also watch Spongebob Squarepants, Asian Food Channel. I also watch some religious shows whenever I get bored. Oh yea religious shows make me fall asleep, and because I am a lil bit insomniac, I have a TV on my room and watch a lil bit of them and I fall asleep :)

Hi friend, i am quite opposite to you, i have the ability to control my feelings and emotions and not interested in crying while seeing the dramas and serial, as we know it is not true and people are acting for money, there is no use in shedding our tears for the story

I also get involved in dramas I see in movies and I shed a tear or more. I have even cried with children`s movies such as the ones that Disney makes. I don`t think it only has to do with my experiences although I suppose we let go of part of our restraints when we are watching a movie, specially if it is dark in a Cinema.

Daisy, I think most people if not all are affected of what they've seen in the television/internet. I'm just like you, I'm moved and touched of the scene I've seen in the tv. It's probably because it touches our emotion and somehow made us to react according to what we feel. It touches our emotions for some reasons; we're able to relate what's happening in the movie, we're moved by the OST or simply because we are really that emotional ;).

The two that you have said was true. Thats why people are created, emotions and feelings are part of our life. Life is nothing without it.

Daisy, I am just like you in this. I get so sad and emotional when see something sad, or happy. Then mad when things are mean. But I dont just do this on movies, when I see sad things in real life it does the same thing. Like if I see someone sad and crying, I will cry too. And then if I hear a song that is full of emotion, like whatever the singer is filling her song with I will get emotional when I hear it.

If you're affected by the emotions that are portrayed in movies then it means that you're an empathetic person which is good. You're able to feel what the characters are feeling. Perhaps it's because you've had the experience and therefore you can relate to them.
I cry at movies easily too. Just show me a scene with sick children or helpless elderly people or abandoned parents and you'll see me crying bucketful of tears. I just can't help it. The tears will come automatically. It's as if the film maker knows what button to press.

I guess it's just normal, maybe because most of us really are emotional in nature. We can easily relate or adapt to a situation, maybe because one way or the other we may have experienced the same thing. So don't worry most of us do.

Well, I think all of the factors you mention has an effect on people. For me, I really don't get to cry even if I'm demanded to. Otherwise, I would have been an actress by now. Movies or television shows that has drama can definitely put an impact on my heart and tears can easily trickle down my face. I guess what I was watching at the time had triggered a sad past event that make me relate to what I'm viewing.
