I was totally disappointed with the trip

This week I took a trip to San Diego, California with a friend of mine, just two of us, but it was a totally disappointment. I guess that my friend just has too much ego of himself, and he should be the one in control on everything. That totally spoiled my trip. His anger, and his unhappiness through the whole trip made me uncomfortable. I don't know if I would go on another trip with him ever again. Through this experience, I probably have to re - evaluate our friendship.
By the way, I don't do much on San Diego though, besides I went to the safari zoo park, and most of the time I drive back and forth to Los Angeles. Hopefully, next time I go to California, there are will be more attractions for me to see.

When I first read your title I thought you would be disappointed by the place you went to. The moral about your story I guess, is that company is more important than the place. If you have good company you can go into a not so cool place, but have the time of your life and vice versa. It's a pity when a single person's character can spoile the trip for the others.

I guess so, if a my friend not so mad easily, we might have good time there.

hi,
it also happened to me last three years ago, when we have a trip in a place where i didn't really appreciate because i didn't see any beautiful place or any good and nice attractions, and the only thing i have said was i don't want to return in this place next time.

I visited San Diego when I was on my travels in California. I think it would have been warmer and more pleasant in the summer time. It was a shame your trip was a disappointment due to your friend's poor company. I wonder why he was angry and acted in an unhappy way. It is best you do your next trip alone and then you will have a much happier time.

Oh my gosh. Story of my life right here! I just had a very very similar experience as I took a trip to visit my friend who lives in Texas. We visited Dallas, Houston, and some ocean-side cities but 99% of the time seemed as though we were just driving (we drove over 1,000 miles in less than 4 days). This was all his idea, and he was also very controlling of what we did. I have never traveled with him before, and while I am glad he took the initiative to make plans, I really could have went without ALL of that driving - and not enough actual sight seeing. By the end of the 4th or 5th day, me and my friend got in a HUGE fight and ended up screaming at each other! I just don't know that I could travel with him again in the future. But I feel as though, I don't know that you should necessarily re-evaluate your friendship as a whole from this experience. Perhaps your friend is just not one that you should travel with.
