Do you feel cold on the back in cold weather?

It is now getting colder and colder. Many of us are starting to put on more clothes and are wearing more layers. I have already been wearing more layers now, but still I feel cold on the back, not in the front. I am wondering whether you have the same feeling, namely, feeling cold on the back when you do feel it. Out of this reason, I love to sit in the sun and I am happy that my desk in the office is next to the window and I can enjoy a lot of sunshine sitting there almost in the whole morning.
To make me feel warmer, I put on a warm and thick vest and then I feel warmer.
So how do you make yourself warm on the back in cold weather, please?
Thank you a million for your response in advance. Stay warm and take care!

This may sound strange but I love the cold, I actually love to feel cold, I find it far far easier to warm up than I do to cool down. I suffer with heat sensitivity, so the heat dampens my moods, makes me fractious and irritable, whereas the cold I come alive, my moods are containable. People will be seen outside dressed up in coats, scarves and hats, whereas I can quite easily walk around with just a t-shirt! I am not sure if I am lucky in that respect. When people look forward to the Summer I dread it, when people dread the winter I welcome it with open arms.

I think it is a personal matter as to how cold or hot one feels. Some feel more cold than others, others do not.

In winters, I feel quite cold at neck, feet and some bit at my back. However, I do normally dress well for winters, and if it is very cold, I wear some warm- wool+cotton mix shirt.
In area under snow, I once also wore thermal vest underneath.

Luckily it is still warm here. We don't have to wear so much yet. In winter I have to wear a lot but I still feel frozen. However, I don't feel cold on my back. Usually my hands and feet are cold. I wonder whether it will be useful if you wear the scarf. Perhaps it will be helpful for you.

Now I am starting to wear turtleneck sweater to keep warm. I don't feel cold on the back now because I also wear woolen vest. The high temperature today in our city is 7 degrees centigrade. Stay warm, youless.

Hello Professor. I agree that in the morning and in the evening of this early winter season, it is cold. When I have evening classes, I don't like it, especially when it is cold and windy. Take care.

I never felt like that ,especially on the back, i am always wearing shawl or sweater during the winter season. May be because its not very cold here like other cold countries.

It is good to live somewhere warm without having to suffer from the cold in winter. Right now the temperature is from 3 degrees to 19 degrees centigrade. It is cold in the morning and evening. If it so happens it is cloudy and windy, it is very cold. Take care, prashu.

Here in our country, Christmas is already near and by this moment the weather should already be cold but then I noticed that it is not that so cold compared to those previous years gone.I want to feel the spirit of Christmas by cold airs.lol. I do not know what is really the explanation why it is more colder at the back then at the front of our body.

To feel colder on the back than at the front of our body makes me feel puzzled. I could not figure out why and still feel confused. Take care, kokomo.

Yeah, it is getting colder and colder. SOme places in my countries even snowed several days ago. I am thin so I am afraid of coldness , too. Every year my hands and my feet are frostbitten , it's itchy and painful. I hate that. I wear thick clothes so I don't feel cold on the back, you feel it as our heart's place needs our special care, so when you put on warm vest, you feel better. It suggests that you should put on more clothes.
Put on more clothes and take care. Have a warm winter!

Hello cpp. Thanks for your care in the first place. I appreciate it. I agree that I need to put on more clothes to stay warm. I live in the south and we have not had the first snowfall so far, but we will have it in freezing weather. You live in the north and therefore I think that you need to put on more layers probably. Stay warm, friend.
