Many of us now are very vain , some people use different tools to enhance their beauty. Some even go to surgery just to look nice and young. Some use make ups/ cosmetics and other beauty product like whitening soap, cream lotion and everything name it and you may have it you may buy it in stores..What is just alarming is that not all the products are good some may even do more harm on skin rather than make u pretty... Would you use some products just to look nice? share your thoughts about this...

I am vain but not to the extreme. I do wear make up once in a while not everyday as I don't have time. when I wear make up, I wear foundation, powder, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss. I tend to straighten my hair most days and dye my hair sometimes. I used to use fake tan but don't any more. I only use things that are not tested on animals and that are good for skin.

same here sis i just wear makeups if there are some occasions i feel lucky cos many people notice i look younger than my age. As what i had observe those people who are fond of using makeups make their skin dry and old as time goes by.some even says i look late 20's but i'm 37 already (wink wink) flattering for me... lol

Ohh wow your very lucky then and must have natural beauty and amazing skin. I hope to have that when IM 37. Right now I am 24 but some people say I look around 18 which IM not sure if it's good or bad.lol.

Some people are vain I agree but there are those that are not or just don't care how they look at all or simply contented about their looks. But I can't hide the fact as well that there are those who really would spend a lot of money for personal beautification. I read an article about how a woman changes her looks through operations and other beauty enhancement. Yup, I agree as well that there are loads of beauty products out there that is a total risk with our skin health reason why we need take extra care in getting these products. I rather suggest that we should not overdo it when it is not needed. :)

yup agree with you i cant judge anyone being so vain, some may do have money to enhance their appearance to be able to look well, and gain confident abt themselves.

i`m actually using whitening soaps and lotion for moisturizing that`s the only beauty product that i`m using.. and i`m confident enough that the whitening soap that i`m using is 100% safe because the ingredients of it is all natural and i`v been using it for many years now.. i only stopped it when i got pregnant just for precautionary measures... i`m nothing against by being vain if you have the money to support your needs..

when I was younger and not yet working, i don't really vain if it is vanity you call. but when I got a job I have to look presentable. I am not really so vain, I am ok with simple make up and of course my favorite lipstick in particular because I flaunt my lips. (I believe I have such beautiful lips, that's just my belief don't believe me.) Anyway, we are working and face people, it is ackward to see someone infront of you whose hair is like spring going every directions it could point. With pale face and when smiling, chapped lips which could hardly stretch. Yes, I go for necessities like lotion, but I am not particular whether it is whitening, i am more of the fragrance. I also want to smell good at all times. It builds self confidence, when someone told you "you look lovely today". More on self uplifting.

Sometimes it could better to make consultations with the doctor/beautician nearby before using any cosmetic or beauty product.

I am very vain and I never go out of the house without makeup on however, I am very careful with products I use. I only buy the trusted brands that have gained a good reputation for being in the business for years. I am not fond of the whitening lotions or creams since I have never felt insecure of my tan complexion. I just want to have smooth and even complexion no matter if it is not fair. I am not also the experimental type of individual. I use the same products through the years because of their advantages. It can be quite risky trying different brands just because they have a great marketing strategy. A company will promise anything even the moon and the stars just to increase sales and profitability.

Hi! I'm actually using just one moisturizer and that's all. I've used it over the years and seems that my skin doesn't have any adverse effects on it. If there's anything that changed its how my skin glows right now cause its properly moisturized. I guess its ok to take care of your skin, but don't go all the way. I mean in that way its beginning to be vain. That's just for my opinion. Cause I believe that there's a line between being vain and being able to properly take care of yourself and being presentable. After all nowadays we have lots of beauty products that's all natural and organic. I guess they just have to find and research for that so that they would be sure that it won't harm their skin.

I am just a little bit vain. I do wear make up but only once in a while. I still believe in simplicity is beauty. And since my boyfriend told me that I don't need make up to just to look and feel good besides I am almost perfect in his eyes. I mostly put moisturizer and lip gloss that's it!. I don't even put powder on.
