Voice tells a thousand words....

Hey dear! Have been working in the BPO industry as well for almost two years. And you know how you'll get a lot of weird callers at times. Everyday is just like a challenge. There was even one time when an old caller was flirting with me on the phone. Funny thing is I hadn't realize that until my TL and I listened to the call. I guess I was too focused on resolving the customer's issue that I hadn't noticed he was already flirting with me. That's the hardest part of being a technical support representative. LOL

I had experienced the same thing when I worked as a customer service representative awhile back. People always liked my voice, they tried to hook up with me over the phone and talk sexy to me. But yeah unfortunately we'd have to tell them if they had nothing else they needed help with besides what they were asking for we had to hang up and most of the time people continued on talking and then I'd just hang up on that. Sometimes times like that makes my day cause I get a good laugh.

Hello iMamon, My occupation was same before some months. As you know a Customer Care Executive have to know pleasure voice and hospitality and soft behave with customer. So I am not exception. But some times I face very irritating customer. Let me share a incident with customer. In the morning at about 9.00 am. I got a irritating call. At first as a survey When I asked his name and he answered me 'DON'. Nice! Then When I asked about his problem He asked my name. I said him Sourabh then he interrupted me and say 'Oh Sourabh Ganguly means DADA( former captain of Indian cricket team), How are you?' Again I asked his problem then he thought, he thought about balance deduction but I can not find any deduction in my system. After that he used slang and thank god reason if anybody used slang that I can disconnect his/ her call. It was just a sample. Many times I horrible to support customer. Anyway nice to meet you and thank you for this type discussion where we can freely share our experience.

I have a couple of these experiences in the past and when the customer gets way too much, the only thing left to do is to apologise because you have to end the call. I only have these experience with Americans, never had I encountered a British nor a Canadian pervert.
