the performance of indian defense in wars especially in post independce era has been really pathetic. Even in war of 1965 war leaving the tragic 1962, india lost around 75 fighters against a loss of 20 aircrafts on pakistan side.

I thought there would be more detailed talk!
I don't know much about how the Indian Army is doing, but I would say that you have fallen on the luckier side of the Subcontinental divide. India is known to be progressing economically and socially.

well the growth rate is normal and equals with many countries and really not a big deal. I have studied it thoroughly and i am not too optimistic about it. Well we hope for good. Thanks.
