that is why i have attached an usb keyboard so that i use another keyboard that is working well. It is not that easy to type using laptop keyboard as i would hit other things accidentally. I am more comfortable to use this usb keyboard so i am not too close to the laptop while i am typing messages.
some letters on laptop keyboard won't work like the letter L and few other characters . so i am just tired typing only using the laptop keyboard.

My sister dropped a whole glass of orange juice on the laptop's keyboard. Surprisingly enough, the laptop didn't die, however the keyboard became really sticky and hard to use. There are some keyboard cleaners on the market, in the form of spray, so you could try to spray it with one of those. However I would do the thing you did. Just plug in a usb keyboard and you ar egood to go. I hate laptop keyboards as well btw.. too small and weird for my taste. :P

i don't want to save money on that spray. i don't care much about the laptop keyboard anyway. i am just happy with the usb keyboard as it is easy to change if i want to and the usb keyboard is much easy to type on and more comfortable at the hands. i could type much much faster with the usb keyboard and it is a joy to use the usb keyboard.

@hotsumme. Too true. you might have problems in replacing your laptop keyboard but an external is always easy to replace.

You should use keyboard cleaner and even if it does not works, then replace the keys that won’t work. Once, my little brother also spilled cold drink on my laptop keys. I got key replacement from

I use an external keyboard since I usually press hard on the keys. I don't want to ruin them. also, I had two or three keys that don't work. It's stupid to buy a new laptop just for three non-usable keys. Besides, I like a good distance for my monitor to my keyboard, unless, i ma really mobile.
