FACEBOOK: it's positive and negative side?

I agree with you that Facebook has become a world in itself.It has its own positive and negative aspects.So has this most popular networking site.It depends on us whether we use it positively or for negative purposes.I mean,we can make good or bad use of Facebook.Facebook is not good or bad in itself.It is us who make it good or bad for ourselves and/or others.

Facebook lets us interact with people we know all over the world, it is also a good way to promote, or to endorse products and services since majority of the internet users have registered to this social networking site. The downside, is that more and more people are signing up to the site without restricting themselves with their privacy, resulting that their lives have become an open book to the social media. I think people should be aware that whatever they posted in facebook can affect their lives.

The people who only mingle on Facebook were probably never that big on mingling with people in person to begin with. I have hundreds of Facebook friends, not all of them are my real friends from real life, but I have become acquainted with several new people who wanted to be FB friends because of my relationships with others or because of my SMM activities. My FB friends are all over the world and it is not possible to interact with them all in person, not that I want to. I just don't have the time for all that socializing. FB allows me to interact with hundreds of people all at once.

Honestly i don't like facebook rules,i think there is no admin there,peoples has free decision to upload any photos,statement or create so many account.The positive think i like use facebook to promote my product and find my old friends.

Positive: Easiest way to communicate and connect to family and friends or even stranger Negative: When people do it too much and use it to their advantage...

I don't believe there are positives or negatives on Facebook. It depend on the users. If you use it to forward your positive agenda well and good for you. And of course, that would make Facebook a good conduit for communication and others. However, if you use Facebook to further you evil longings, one might get successful as well right? Obviously that would render Facebook a bad name. So its not about the net that renders it good or bad. It's all about users attitude of using the network. How about you? How did you use it?

Facebook provide me way to get connected with family, relatives, school mates, etc or search long lost friend. Recently, the existence of FB does not revolve only to circle of friendship because we now have a way to engage in business through facebook. One thing that I dont like in facebook is that, some people are abusing it. I get to see obscene photos or some sort of creepy photos that are not supposed to be upload to share to all users. Another thing, I hate whiny statuses..

Everything must has it's pros and cons depending upon our usage. If we use it wisely, I am sure we can overcome the cons of this facebook. For instance, we must use this facebook only to interact with our old friends and family who are apart from us. Never accept any stranger or a person whom we are knowing from facebook. Then we can avoid the unnecessary trouble. Age wise is a problem too. The parents must educate their children well to use this facebook wisely. In my personal view, the parents must be granted the permission to access their children; facebook account. If possible, we must avoid our children to use the facebook because they are not mature and independent enough to judge if something is right or wrong.

My computer has a very-wimpy power-connection, so the negative comes up first: the 'ages' of waiting (a few minutes) for my computer to FIND 'Facebook' (and all the little connections that find each little image and feed on Facebook). And then it goes and RELOADS the feed while I'm IN THE MIDDLE OF RESPONDING TO A USER'S POST! And there was a time when I believed they would listen to my complaints about it, but now I know they won't listen to anything unless they fear to lose what they have

Hi friend, We all know Facebook is the great social networking site which allows us to communicate with our friends and relatives. Most of the people around world is having their own fb account. In fact most of the people who had computer literacy is having their own face book account and enjoying a lot while accessing it. Even though facebook don't share its revenue with its members for their usage, lot of people getting addicted with this site and spending a lot of time with it by doing various activities in that site. Facebook is having both positive and negative reviews and impacts. In fact the negative impact of face book is higher than the positive impacts. Lot of people blaming facebook for the divorce cases, abusive relationship, crimes and others. In my opinion facebook is not the reason for this kind of activities. The person who is using the site is the reason for the positive and negative results. If we use this site in a good way, surely we will get benefits from it and vice versa. Facebook helped a lot of people to find out the missing friends, siblings, even some people find out their missed son/daughter using fb. Facebook is just a mediator between the person whoever using the site. We have our own choice to use the site in a good or bad manner. Try your maximum to use this site in a good way to get benefits from it. Don't use this site for taking revenges and unwanted things. Fb is the best place to get more traffic to our site and blogs and share about our good life incidents, photos of our enjoyment and so on. For me, fb is a great place to make a lot of good friends around world and make a lot of fun with them through wall posts and updates as well as interact with our friends through chat and messages. FB is the best place to get virtual friends and make good relationship with them.

People post everything there. that is quite annoying. All the things they do and have done and doing. All their anger, their disappointment and so on. Sometimes, it is becoming a chant for them, over and over and over and over. Same posts, just reworded the complain about the work, love, about everything they could think of. Arrgh! I hate when my friends do this, because I will just hide it from my wall. I don't like to see repetitive complains and yet they do nothing about it but just to air out in FB.

That's a good observation, just like what you've said one good thing about Facebook is the communication it provides to people from different place. It's also a way to share one's idea and feelings. The bad thing is that some people abuse it by going Online like 24 hours which is bad for their health. Also another bad thing is sometimes Facebook serve as an instrument in destroying one's personality or dignity. Just like the recent cases of cyber bullying. _

positive side for me = through fb i be able to chat and have a great conversation to my parents everyday they lived in Texas. negative for some cos i have noticed they are getting addicted to some games, no more time to socialize personally they just depend on fb chat

Positive is i can communicate with my co-leagues and other friends from other places. A great way too to find friends with your common interest. Negative is too many false information and being used to harass other's privacy and used as well in many illegal ways.

Positive side We can communicate to our friends and family easy even we don't have computers. Facebook is already built-in in some mobiles and some network providers provides O facebook it means they can open facebook without credit for prepay users. Negative sides: some don't use it properly, they use it for their own interest. Children get addicted to facebook games like my nephew. People already forget to have a face to face interaction because they can just post status on facebook that you are invited to this and that or we have a this and that on that date.
