How do you feel if your photo is available in public?

I agree with the first comment. There's nothing wrong in seeing your picture in the newspaper especially if the news about you is good. That's something to be proud of. But if the news about you is something destructive, that's bad publicity. If you haven't done any bad act then you still hold your head up high. There's nothing to be ashamed of. It's good to see ourselves in public especially if there's a good article written with it. Happy mylotting.

It depends on the picture and it's content, If I do things to be proud of and it should be posted in some public newspaper I would not hide and should be proud of. But if it is bad and my pictures are been abused by someone who posted it I will find a way to confront and pile a case on who done it. I will not be ashamed if I do not do things bad.

Fortunately I have never had to experience this problem, to my knowledge my photo has never appeared in the paper, even when I was at school, I have never done anything good or bad to get myself in print, but I too would be embarrassed if my photo appeared in the newspaper, I am self-conscious enough without having that problem added!

That would feel unease because we see daily what some pictures are transformed to so we don't know what others might do with it. The important thing is not to take any uncomfortable pics cause they can always photoshop it but the real thing is the important thing so if we don't do it, there's no proof. Digital pictures are material things so they can be moved and passed on.

every day i see pictures of people in the newspaper. some are people who are missing or who were abandoned, some are people with cases filed against them. it makes me wonder about their family and friends and how they feel about it.

It depends on what Context it has Appeared

I make sure that the captions are positive. But good or bad publisity I don't like my picture to be on papers as I don't have a face fit for public viewing. I am only good behind the camera.

Youless, it is depending on situation. If it is for a good cause, then i won't feel ashamed.If it is something bad, then i would investigate and not allow people to publish my photo anymore. I don't want people to misuse my photo for unwanted purpose.

If picture are coming for good reason like I was guest in a seminar and I put my speech there then my photos is published in news paper with news of seminar. I feel happy so depend upon situation on which situation my photo is published.

My first born's picture was in a newspaper by accident. He was just a toddler and we were at a large community gathering years ago. He went to sit next to a good family friend he was fond of and we did not know that the friend was later interviewed by the newspaper covering the gathering. So next thing we knew everyone was telling us that my son was on the cover page of the newspaper!

It depends on stuff. I would feel a bit anxious, becaus I don't really feel comfortable with people looking at me. But I would get used to it, if it was published in a less-known newspaper or a quality one, with a nice pic. But if it was an awful pic, published on a dirt website to make fun of me or in a tabloid, I would be pretty embarrassed... but no sunglasses, that would be obvious... I would try to act as if it doesn't interest me.

If my photo is pleasing then why not, I will be overwhelmed. But of course, most photos which has been published are being paid. That would be great if that's the case.

me maybe i will not go outside our house for one week till everybody forget you already.. that is so embarrassing.. but wait it depends on the situation in the first place why is my picture in the newspaper did i dd something wrong if none.. if it is a good news then i`ll be proud of it..
