Hi friend, i am also in your sort, i just check this site to get updates from friends and promote my articles, i am not a fb addict and check this site once in a while. Most of the youngsters in this modern days are turned as Facebook addicts and spend a lot of time with this site without any benefits. Even they are using Facebook from their smart phones, tablets and other mobile devices. As we know fb is a good place for socializing and keeping touch with our friends and family members, but this site don't share any revenue with their members. We can have fun and enjoyment while spending our time with this site, but don't have the ability to earn for our activities.
Lot of revenue sharing social sites are available in this days. Join with a good legit and stable social site which is paying around many years. Send your referral link to your fb friends, family members and suggest them to join with you. By this way, you can keep in touch with your friends and family persons as well as earn for each and every activities. It is the best way to come out from Facebook addiction and you can make money in your free time from your socializing activities.
Most of the parents don't like their kids spending a long time in fb for unwanted chatting activities and blame their son/daughter for wasting time with Facebook. If you join with this kind of paying sites, you can make money from your chatting and interacting activities as well as your parents will praise you for your money making activities. You can get the same fun and enjoyment with this paying social sites as well as earn money from your activities. You are not wasting your time, you will get fun with socializing and make money for each and every activities.
Everyone who are interested in over come from their fb addiction must follow this step to earn money as well as have fun and enjoyment with their friends and family members using socializing activities.

That's not an addiction, friend. It might be a kind habit because you do it daily as your activity. Your not being stay their in 8 hours or more? If you stay their all day and do whatever you want to make yourself satisfy. That will be an addiction because your always want to satisfy yourself in such condition.

Lots of people check Facebook in the mornings. I don't think that is obsessive at all. What would be obsessive is if you were constantly checking it every moment of everyday and not doing your work. Facebook is an easy way to keep up with friends, but also what is going on in the world.
Most news agencies have FB pages, major retailers, banks. You can get recipes, coupons, sale announcements, international headlines... FB is a lot more than chatting and playing games.

I read this 6 ways to Kick your Facebook Addiction:
1. Define your goals
2. Limit your time
3. Share your goals
4. Take facebook breaks
5. Use likes as rewards
6. Just turn off the computer
http://mashable.com/2012/06/06/11/kick-your-facebook-addiction/
You have to divert your attention to something productive or like just don't turn on computer and sleep. I was once addicted to facebook but I realized I spent lots of time in facebook instead of doing productive things. Now, I am addicted to myLot.

So, this became a routine to you everyday. Just like you I used to be too, but sometimes it do consumes some of my time which were not meant to be. At first it's very hard to break the habit but if you are determined you could lessen your time with it. Now, I do FB but not as before.

I can say this time that I am going to that path already, being Addict in Facebook.lol. I do logging in almost everyday same with mylot. But ofcourse, mylot is more addictive than Facebook for me. Facebook is only for socialization not unlike mylot, it is an earning and learning site. My old friends and I are far with each other so I need to be always updated with them so I use Facebook everyday.

Hello there! For me, its ok to get hooked up with facebook. I mean, even I was once so addicted to it. But now, I can get to not check facebook at all!
Just enjoy it and you'll be surprised that one day you can live a day without checking your status or check any updates on it.

maybe why we are addicted to it is because our family and friends are their responding to us if we have inquiries or question or just making post to say hi.. me too i love facebook because it makes us easy to access our relatives from abroad.. it is a form of communication with them..

i think its okey to continue so long as your addiction does interfere with your daily activities and not dangerous to your life and don't inconvenience others.

Well, facebook is a used for a lot of social networking. If you can see your friends and talk to them face to face, it makes facebook another option to connect to your friends. If facebook is your only connection to the people you know, it really does leave you with a less fufilled friendship. When you see people, it gives you a better understanding of who they are. If you don't check your facebook account for a while. You should not lose any friends over it. If you decide to cut back, it will be better in my opinion

Maybe thats some sort of a routine. For me its not an addiction for now, but be sure to control your self since after a routine now addiction is next. Facebook is good though some people using facebook are bad specially when it comes to bully. for the mean time try to do something else besides facebook. its better you become a mylot addict since mylot turns your time and effort to money.

I used to be a facebook addict, but not anymore. I only check my facebook account in the evening for just 5 or 10 minutes before going to sleep. Facebook was fun way back, not anymore. I understand your excitement about facebook though, because I used to be exactly like you.

I was really addicted to Facebook when I joined it for first time and that was like 3-4 years ago, like you said I also used to wake up early in morning to check status, comments etc and I used to update status regularly and do lots of tagging, but these days I hardly log into Facebook let alone update status,In my view with time you will also lose your addiction towards Facebook,Best of luck.
