Do you know Singles' Day ?

yes i have heard about it where they brandish huge shopping mela and keep dancing for hours together

You know we are from the same country, so I know this festival. It is a new festival in the recent years. And actually today the businessmen are very creative to make many different kinds of festivals so that it will promote people to consume. The online stores seem to have a great income in this day. I am also one of them but I didn't buy it on purpose at that time. I just wanted to buy something and therefore I just went shopping online. It had nothing to do with the Singles' Day.

I only heard about this from a friend who actually won their Singles' Day pageant. I do not know how they celebrated this day but they seem very happy. I think that it will also depend on the organization on how are they going to celebrate it like for them, they held a beauty pageant for their single employees. I also saw each of them holding a special chocolate cake that time and my friend, fresh bouquet.

I don't think we have a formal celebration of Singles' Day in our country. I think is good that in your place you celebrate Singles' Day. Many singles have many contributions in society. They have to be appreciated. Thanks for sharing this. Good day!

hello i haven't heard such a thing only now. hmm maybe its just a celebration to be thankful that still you are single and have many more choices in life to deal with lol.

oh, nice to know that novemver 11th is a single day. i don't know about it at all.anyway it is always nice when there is a party to celebrate it, hihihi

Lol, that's a pretty interesting day. We don't celebrate this in my country and it is actually the first time I hear about Single's Day. Why don't you tell us a little bit more about it? :) To me it sounds like it is the exactly opposite of valentine's day.:P Like instead of celebrating love, you celebrate the independence and freedom of the singles, accompanied by some discounts that are needed due to the fact that a single's life can be more expensive as there is only one person's income to pay the bills.:P

Thanks for sharing. Happy to hear that there is a day even for singles. To be honest i am hearing it for the first time. Here in Dubai, it went off just as a normal day. No such shopping deals or events over here.

hello HuaZhao I did not know there is a Singles day in your country. it seems so fun to celebrate that day. anyway we have a lot of festival here in the philippines. its a tradition of thanks giving. festival is the most fun celebration in the whole year.

I am not aware of that but I heard of the grandparents day. I think this kind of special days are business related. When there are events business is up.

now single's day is like shopping day more.

I'm single.When I come with the day I will be very sorrow for I haven't found a girlfriend yet now.I'm 27 years old,I spent my time in the army to practise millitary skills.Though I was a little handsome in the past,though I'm always kindful,but there's no good girls love me,I'm still single untill now.I'm so dispointed.
