Christmas Lights

What fascinates me most on the Christmas decors are the Christmas lights. When Christmas is near, one can see many Christmas lights at houses, malls, and in the streets. They are all shimmering and children are all happy to see them. This remind me of Jesus as the true Light of the world. A Light that shines in darkness. Jesus is the true essence of Christmas. What do you think of this mylotters?

Hi,
"And God said: Let there be light..." and there it is, the lights of Christmas. Being the one that guides us out of darkness, Jesus is the true light and every Christmas should be celebrated in the light of this truth.
I really don't frown upon Christmas themes and activities that does not center on Christ, the practice has always been there long before Christ was born. Still, I wish that those who don't see the light and are still in the dark, groping for the one that has always been there yet remained neglected and ignored, shall someday come to an understanding of the real meaning of it all.

now a days we can say that many people dont believe in god they just worry about their self well they pray when they need gods help but really do nothing to praise god

Christmas is the day to remember the birth of Lord Jesus and His
purpose to this world. He is the Light, He is the Way!
Recently I noticed that many Malls in Malaysia started to decorate
with Christmas trees, lights and songs are played. It is the time
of the year where people share and learn to give. I wish I am in
Hong Kong, Macau or Singapore this Christmas to fully immerse in
the festive moods.

You know after enoying and loving the beauty of Christmas lights for so many years, I've never thought of it like that.. Even though I love them because they remind me of stained glass windows, thus worship, I've never thought of them as a reminder and representation of Jesus as "the light of the world"! (dah! silly me)

Yes, absolutely agree with you. Jesus is the light of the world!
He bring good news to all of us.
I heard theme park like Universal Studio Singapore, Disneyland,
Shopping malls , hotel lobby are all decorated beautifully to
usher this Christmas. I hope I can visit somewhere interesting
like Singapore Orchard Road famous for its street Christmas decorations,
fully lighted up
