Of the Greatest is Love

It is written in the Bible, " among the three- faith, hope, and love, the greatest is love. " For me, love is the greatest for God is love and when one does something without love, it is nothing and has no meaning. What makes love the greatest for you? Ist it the greatest for you?

Hi,
Saint Paul said it after he had a vision. First, he saw a faithful people, believing and hopeful that in spite of the trials and tribulations in this world, they may reach that eternal union with the creator in heaven. Now, once that union has been achieved, faith and hope shall vanish: no more faith, the element that one has to believe without seeing the object of belief; no more hope, the object being hoped for is already there in person. What remain is love, it shall always be there, the person that has toiled long and hard is rewarded with it, being united with it for all eternity. Thus, the greatest is love, it endures forever.

It should be compassion towards others for me, it is really hard. For example someone does something against me and I just want to do it back but the more we say no to revenge the more we find in our hearts the way to forgive. We are not taking the guilty from that person, we are just finding our own inner peace. Let the Universe and God take care of that.

God made man out of love. And I think that man lives because of love. Coz if not, he would have chosen to die.
