I'm wondering why I don't have the plus and minus symbols. I juat noticed now when I responded to a discussion that everyone has them except me. I only have the exclamation point there for reporting abuse. What does that mean? I looked into the FAQs and guidelines but there's no topic there about it.

The [+] and [-] is used to rate a response or comment. It is for the other users to rate you. You cannot rate yourself. Thus, you only see a [!] below your post. You can use this to delete your own post. Good day!

You have to take part in discussions be it posting or replying to discussion, as far as your stats here in myLot you haven't reached the 100 rating it means you need to participate more since you have little activities yet in myLot once you've reached a hundred that's the time you have the positive and negative for posted feedback thus gives you your first star reputation.
I suggest you do more here make a more than a hundred so that you can have a reputation star and can eventually make a positive or negative rating.
Have fun!
