If you buy older iPhone like 3s, 4 or 4s, it would be a lot cheaper. Camera especially macro zoom has always been better on the iPhone.

hi mohitraj321, it's good to know that you are searching for a android smartphone for the purpose of surfing the web, listening to music, watching videos, and capturing pictures with the camera. well, i think you should also let us know your budget so that we could suggest to you the brand or model or type of phone accordingly to your capability. anyway, nowadays you could easily get an android smartphone (with all the functions mentioned above) even at the cost of just under $200. but of course, the product you get will not be among the famous brands.

The reason I join into this discussion is because I'm looking for a new replacement for my phone. I can't afford Iphone so I will be looking for android. I heard that Samsung is the best player on android market. After reading here and there, I also think that Galaxy S3 is the best choice but its price was almost the same as Iphone 4S .

I just bought the Samsung Galaxy S3, a week ago, and man oh man, it far exceeds what i thought it could do. It has a 4.8 inch scrreen, which is great for watching movies and taking videos. In fact, the videos are sharp and clear, and also the photos are as well. I am having lots of fun with it, and I am glad I decided to get it. I wasnt sure if I would like it, but I really do. It is very sturdy, as I have had Samsung Galaxy phones before, and they are very sturdy, as when the fall on the floor, nothing happens to them. When it comes to hones though, it really depends on what you like and what your needs are. I always look at reviews on a phone I am considering, and after doing so, I then know if it will fit my lifestyle or not. I do wish you the best in finding the phone that fits your needs. Take care, and have a very good day.

Why not get the Samsung Galaxy S II, that might be suitable for you. As matter of fact, the Thanksgiving is closing by, and you can pick one of those electronic stores to get your items for really cheap price. You just have to sacrifice 2 years with those service provider, then you can get a pretty good smartphone. Good luck on shopping for your smart phone out there.

I think nothing beats the samsung III in terms of android. When compared to the new iphone I reckon it's on an even level with it but of course that isn't an android phone. I have the samsung III and am more than happy with it. It's a bit pricey but well worth it. Great camera, android 4.0, runs smooth and you can really do a lot with it, videos run perfectly on mine, although I don't watch them too much because I prefer something with a bigger screen for watching movies.

Sorry friend, not apple phone please. These phones are very costly compare to android phones and have control over device like you can not send or recieve content via bluetooth and you can not connect your phone with your computer via usb. I dont like 4 inch phone so I like android phones with the screen of 4.7 inch. Also Apple phones are very costly

I think the Galaxy S3 would suit you the best. It has a wide screen for you to surf the net, watch videos, and all that sort. The memory is also pretty big, and the camera quality is clear. And usually, phone companies have deals going on with phones that they offer, so you can get it at a pretty affordable price.

for purposees you described in the post probably there are many phones suitable for those features may be you can compare different models depending from hardware that you judge better for example if you want a powerful camera or not or if you need a wide disk space because you save many videos or pictures on your phone or even if there are still many models to choose considering the price...in many cases the most expensive not mean the best in general!!

I think you will need to change your mindset about smartphones where upon owning it, you will be actually be enjoying "Everything" that comes with it (installed) in the phone. You will have the experiences beyond what you have mentioned like keeping in touch with your peers, friends and family members with apps like Facebook, Twitter, Skype, Whatsapp and many more. You will also be able to obtain news without having to open the phone's browser to read it when the major news networks like BBC, CNN and many more; would have their own apps. The phones will have interactive capabilities like giving direct access into video streaming sites or digital photo albums. Not only those mentioned, you will be able to read your important emails on the move. Having mentioned these, I think you will understand that your phone will need to have a good configuration for your phone itself in order to run the programs or otherwise known as apps, smoothly and not have any hiccups. Presently, the known brands are Samsung, HTC and LG, of which the Samsung Galaxy SIII is the best in the market with a reputation of iPhone beater, you will definitely find the experience true to its literature. Lastly, I think you will need to opt for the price plan that will allow your phone to have adequate data access which is the main criteria of all smartphones. The network provider will need to provide either the 3G/4G networks for the phone to work optimally.
