getting smarter through surfing

you are right, mhaiXCs10s. i think i also have become smarter a lot because of my interest of internet surfing. there are unlimited information, opinions, and ideas on different fields of interests, technologies, products, etc. available for us to learn and be equipped for a better knowledge and experience. sometimes it could make us think and consider things out of the box, out of our limited mind!

I'm getting smarter surfing here but geting more and more behind on some other things...

The internet can be like a library if you use it. It's like not having to go to the library or school, you can just learn on line. However, you still have to go to the real world so you can have one on one conversations with people.

hi friend, Yeah I couldn't agree with you more! I love surfing the net. Whenever I want to learn about something I search for it over the internet. We can find a lot of information over the web. We just have to be smart on identifying which information is really helpful. Internet was my best friend in college. I was able to finish my thesis with a great help from the internet. I really use internet for learning new things and keeping my self updated.

Nope, I have never missed a chance of getting into the net. this is my way to communicate with the family at a cheaper cost. And yes, now that I have this mylotting, I even can not missed the day with net.

I definitely agree that surfing the net constantly helps us keep our brain active and it's very useful for our mind;I don't know if it makes me smarter,but it helps me expand by general knowledge every day and for that reason I appreciate the Internet so much.However,although I surf the net almost every day,I also try to take a break from it from time to time because I don't want to become too addicted to it and I don't want my 'virtual' life to become more important than the real one.

I started to surf the internet since I was thirteen years old which is about eleven years ago. Since then, I find internet surfing to be really beneficial to our knowledge and intelligence. I admit that sometimes I use the internet for gaming and other entertainment purposes. But I do spend quite a lot of time to read articles, news and documentation to increase my knowledge.

It's good to see people who put use the availability of the internet in to good use. You're right, learning should not stop after you step out of your campus. With the internet, you can learn and explore different things from home improvements to the latest science discoveries. And hey, you can earn some money too. Happy mylotting. :-)

I became smarter in many aspects as well. I became aware of politicians involvement and how or whom to vote for next election. And I am more informed about what's happening in our world, but most of all, I learned more recipes to cook which is very important for me.

I cannot imagine a world without internet. I believe thst new generations will be a lot smarter just because of this. Internet is a great educational tool, although you should be careful to avoid scams and critical in order to filter out information and always check for the reliability of your sources, as apart from great information there is a great amount of junk out there

hi there, well it is nice to hear that you have found a good nest in the online world. i just wish, you could also find a way to earn more online. only be careful enough to scrutinize what are the sites which is legit and paying.

When we talk about hobbies and ideas, the internet surfing is great. but, when it's about school or important information I prefer another type of material such as books. Then, a lot of information on the internet, doesn't matter the subjet, has bad quality. I think that we should keep on our minds part of information which we take before on own mind filter.
