There are movies that are worthy of being watched in the movie house, and there are mediocre stories that are not worth being watched in movie houses because the stories aren't that good... and is just for watching in dvd.

I like to watch movie using dvd or laptop compare to watch in theater. I dont like dark, and i feel want to sleep and bored when i watch in theater. If i using dvd or laptop i can watch again my favourite movie. :)

I love to watch movies on the big screen but watching them at home in bed all snuggled up is also nice. I guess it would depend of course on how much time or money you have or if you can wait for movies you want to see now to come out on DVD. As for me I am off to snuggle and watch a movie right now.

I prefer watching movies at home with family or when friends come to stay at my home. i hardly went to theaters in my whole lifetime until now..only once. and there is one another reason why i do not like going theaters because sometimes it becomes the place where bad guys try touching girls and harass them..which i hate the most.

well it depends because watching a movie in theater is quit expensive than watching at home. that on the cost point of view but on entertainment point of view going to the theater is the right choice

I prefere to watch movies at home. Not only it is better that I can pause it whenever I want, is more quiet (I like to hear the movie not the person next to me chewing popcorn or sipping juice) but most important it is cheaper and I don't have to wait for a certain day when the movie is at cinema, I can see it when I want.

I love movie nights at home because it's less expensive. In theater you pay more for tickets, snacks and drinks.Of course, at home you won't be able to watch latest movies, but you can wait for their dvd or blu-ray releases. In theater you have limited choice of movies and less space. It's a public place and you can't relax too much.

I like the theater feeling, it's different. More magical and monumental. But at the same time, watching movies at home is practical and cheap... and you can stop the film whenever you want, walk around the room or use the laptop or go to the loo... but it can become boring to watch films at home always.

Hi there, I live in Scotland and every Wednesday we have a thing called orange Wednesdays where you can get 2 tickets for the price of 1 if your on orange network with your mobile phone. you simply txt film to a number and they txt u a code u then take to the cinema to be redeemed. A very good idea for those on a budget. I don't know what country you live in but perhaps there are similar offers, a quick web search my tell you. good luck :)

I think watching a movie at the cinema is a lot better. It is, of course, depending on the movie itself, depends on what you exepct to experience. If it's some sort of an action movie I would suggest the cinema. You can feel the effect of it better.
