When it comes to money, we should be wise enough and we should not entrust our money to people we do not know. I feel sorry upon seeing on our local news that there are a lot of people who invested a big amount of their hard-earned money to pyramiding scheme which eventually became unsuccessful. A lot of people wants to rob others and we should know how to protect ourselves from them. People who promises instant returns of investments should not be trusted. We should invest on other things like having our own variety store or buying lots and houses which we could rent to others. Yes, imagine! The amount of money invested by people in pyramiding could actually build a house or could be used in businesses like stores or schools. Hmn, nevertheless, I hope you got my point =)

Hi friend, we must be very careful while investing our money. Lot of scams are available in both online and offline and they are ready to scam us at any time, we never give an opportunity to them and avoid investing money with unknown schemes. Don't involve with a business without idea. Be smart to earn more

Investing money involves risk and we should be aware of that. Besides, pyramiding schemes are not always scams because there are legit ones. The only problem would be the ones that are first would be the people who would generate a lot of profit.
Just a simple tip: Before investing, we should not solely rely on other people say about the program. The internet is readily available and we can immediately search for leads in a program's legitimacy. Lastly, never invest a money that you cannot afford to loose.

Allow me to give my points. People involved in pyramiding schemes and other illegal means to hoodwink us of our hard-earned money are good feeds fit for the lions. They have no right to stay in a civilized society. Is it good for them to spend money which comes not from their own toil? Fellow users, beware don't invest money on plans promising big percentages in a short period of time. I knew of one businesswoman in our place who was victimized by a pyramid scam. Now she has sold almost all her properties and has been sued for several thousands of indebtedness incurred. I myself admit I was almost victimized.

I think it really depends on what type of thing you are doing online, and you do have to be cautious. For me the ones that seem to be the Best are Low investment with a product. Especially when it concerns a product that everyone enjoys eating. But people do need to remember, what works for one may not work for another and don't ever expect to become rich overnight.

It's really hard to invest in such ways of making money, my friend. Because there is no products and rely only on the person that's being recruited. Even in the networking with products, still really hard to believe in the person promise anything under the sun to recruit anyone.

I am sympathetic to those victims who fell into such traps. They lost their hard earned monies to those cheaters. But if we were to scrutinize why so many people fell for those tricks, even though it is not something new and it does keep repeating all the time, we can see that it is greed plus ignorance that got many into believing the beautiful promises that are just too good to be true.
I started a discussion sometime ago about the folly of investing in HYIP, Some members posted that investing in those HYIPs is a worthy risk to take and that one should go in early before it goes to be a scam. They know it is a scam and yet they have such mentality that if I could just be faster than the others then I will still make money even though they know that the money they make will be from the eventual victims. And they call that "calculated risk".
If anyone wants to earn big money without efforts, it is better go and buy a lottery ticket. If you are lucky enough to strike the first prize, at least you will definitely be paid. Not like those HYIP in internet where a promise will remain just a promise with no actual realization.

hey , in my opinion those people invested their money to pyramiding scheme are not so foolish, they are kind of courageous and actively to earn money and strive for a better life in a way. just sometimes they are not that lucky, and some of them failed, however doesn't mean they are losers always. most of the time we have to through many failures before we succeed, but before that, almost all of us can't tell the best way from better or bad ones, that's why we have to try, experience and then find out the best available way to gain wealth. like Mary kay is kind of pyramiding scheme and many hard working staff do well in it. so, my point is just find the way suitable for yourself, in the field you are good at, and never lose confidence for a better life and future.

I was once a victim of a pyramid scam... i had reservations investing my money... but because of some reason... i did... i was able to get only half of what i invested... but i was lucky because some people i know really lost a lot... since then... i decided never to venture into easy money schemes... better invest with low interest but the return is a sure one...

I wonder why these people got fooled. Don't they know that they should not trust strangers. If they promise something big, then they shouldn't believe them. Money is very hard to earn. Why can you get a big amount of money in an instant? They should think thrice. Their money is always at stake. I guess it would be better if they will keep their money in a bank and use some of them in putting up their own business. They should work hard to earn more money. We should not let these scams fool us.

There are many such scam schemes out there. When we go and listen
to their recruitment talk, it is fantastic. But in actual fact
it is not easy and many people lost their hard earned money.
However, there are some good ones or genuine multilevel marketing
but all need hard work and many contacts too. It is quite time
consuming. Therefore, I agree with your suggestion that since it
is our money, we should invest in properties and other businesses
that we can control and monitor.

I have heard about this news lately and I feel sorry for those who have lost huge amount of money they invested in this pyramiding scams. I still wonder what strategy or technique this people used to convinced those victims to invest. But I was also thinking if it is really their intention to scam other people or the business just did not work and they are left with no choice but to turn to a scam. Nevertheless, they are still responsible for their members and should be liable for the losses.
In my case, I have recently joined a newly opened profit sharing business. It does not promise millions like other networking or pyramiding scams. It offers an extra income that would be very helpful for wives like me. You actually save and earn from your own purchases and of those who have registered under you. So as long as you and your referrals continue to buy those products which actually most wives and households use in a regular basis like detergent powder and dishwashing liquid, you will earn. What I really like about is they have really concentrated in product development so their products are of high quality. I think that it is far better than of those pyramiding scams that you would just have to invest and you do not actually know what will gonna happen to your money after that.

It was sad news indeed. Fact is we can never get rid of these scammers but we can protect ourselves from them by being vigilant and smart about it especially when money (hard-earned money) is involved. I cannot judge those who have been victimized by these scammers but the thing is, if it is too good to be true, then it probably is. In all pyramid scheme, only those who are at the top are the ones earning big time and the rest will mostly end up losing their investments. Let us just be cautious when it comes to "money", scammers are everywhere be it online or offline.

Hi, I have typed a long response here awhile ago and for some reason it was gone, and when I checked on your comments boxes it wasn't there. I got a little annoyed but what can I do when it's gone... it just simply mean it's gone forever. So here again starting a new one.
Yup, I totally agree with you that when we are investing we should go for not easy money, those who promise quick and high returns seems not true at all. Most of the time money matters are really a very complicated issue and desiring for more is far worse ever.
Lusting for more money will indeed drive us to the edge of our life... losing everything both money and life. I feel so sorry for those who got victimized by these scams co's I know the money they give out are hard-earned money and it just went out from them too quickly.
The worse thing that ever happened to them are they only not loss the money, they also loss their freedom co's for sure they'll be put to jail by the crimes they've done not to mention that the one who started all these trouble is somewhere free and probably enjoying the wealth of others.

They say, "that there are two kinds of people in this world- the deceivers and the one being deceived." I'm sorry for the victims of this scam. I hope that these deceivers will get their due punishments not only to the pyramiding scams but with other scams too.
Good day!

When someone tell you that you can earn lots of money, it's hard for you to resist it.Yes, it's true for some people who are lucky enough to earn extra money, but the common truth is that most people fail in this battle. I think we should invest our money in different ways, just like what you said.

I completely agree with you. It sad that this is happening but it continues to happen over and over again. The elderly are especially victimized by things like this. You are exactly right- we can trust our money to anyone.

Hi Mimiang,
Yes it's really unfortunate. We can't really control how other people act. I have almost been a victim of a pyramid scam. I shelled out 6000php because I was talked to signing a contract and swipe my credit card. I don't know exactly how it happened, but the agent kept on making hand contact. He also kept tapping my shoulders and kept talking about my dreams for my family. The good thing is that I have gotten my money back.

I hate pyramid or networking. Many of my co workers were victimized by this. Yes and that very heartless inhuman tactics to get money from people. Well they say if it its instant and easy money you have to think twice or thrice before really getting into it.

When investing money, offers that seem too good to be true are mostly too good to be really true! You cannot also blame these people who have been scammed because:
1. most people who entered pyramiding were invited by their close friends or families
2. scammers have a really good way of talking you into investing
3. most people by nature would jump into anything that has got to do with "easy money" schemes.
