Wearing Clothes with Vertical Stripes is supposed to have a Slimming Look

If the slimming look from wearing vertical stripes is true, then one may assume that horizontal stripes would have the opposite effect. Of course there are some people on which it may not matter. There is a local weather gal in my area who has such a great figure that she feels comfortable wearing at least two dresses with horizontal stripes that I have taken notice of. She looks fabulous in them with her great figure. Of course there is other saying that the camera adds 10 pounds. If this is true, then she must be very slim to look like she does on camera. My guess is that the stripes effect is mostly true and that the camera adding 10 pounds is either no longer true or never was true.

I don't think many people care for that look at all. It's rare you see someone with vertical stripes. Now if they were pin stripes perhaps but thick stripes probably not.

Yes it is true. I have seen a heavy person wearing horizontal stripes and they looked very wide. Someone slim simply looks like a zebra! Just kidding!

I never wear horizontal stripes because I've always heard they make people look bigger. And I kind of think it's true for everyone but skinny people. I don't think they make thin people look fat, but I think they do make them appear somewhat larger. Please tell me I was not the only one outragedthat Kelley Monaco got to the finals even though she was worse than Emmitt or Apolo? Shawn and Melissa deserved it. I think the soap fans might just make Kelly win although she won't deserve it. They couldn't save their soaps, but they can give her another Mirror Ball trophy. I was all for her going far, but it would be kind of embarrassing for her to win when we all know she's not the best.
