No your account will not be closed. But if you remain inactive for 90 days or 3 months, your account becomes idle and any earnings in your account will be forfeited. So if you are only leaving for 2 months you need not worry. But make sure to at least login once if you plan for a holiday longer than 3 months. Here if you are inactive for 90 days your account will be deleted. I think you will have some time to do a single discussion in between your holidays.This will help you to make your account active and will not be deleted by admin.

Anusha, if you visit the link provided by me in the response above, it is clear that one doesn't needs to start a discussion or respond to one within 90 days to remain active. Just managing to login within the said period will be enough.

I have been gone for many months before, and I have not lost my account. But I never log out, so perhaps that is why I didn't after the 90 day limit of not having logged on..(?)

I have been at Mylot for a long time and ceased to use the site for several years. Surprisingly my account remained active despite such a long absence, so there is nothing for you to be concerned about.
I am fully aware that many sites automatically delete accounts after a specified period of time, but this does not apply to Mylot.

Well, I opened the account, about three years ago, here on Mylot. Then I "stupidly" left out this wonderful site for about a year.
I had earned a single penny!
After one year, through various recommendations of friends, I decided that for me, Mylot has to be my number one site in terms of gain and socialization.
Re-opened the account, I even realized that the penny I earned a year earlier, was still there, in pending!
So you can be quiet, your account will not go completely closed.
This, at least with the rules currently applicable in Mylot.

I left mylot for over a year ago and i just begin to start again last week. So it would only mean that your account will not be closed for that reason.
Well have a nice holiday. i hope you enjoy your long holiday!we are looking forward that you will return soon.

You don't have to worry. Your account will not be deactivated. Your earnings are safe as well as long as you don't get inactive for 90 days after which all your earnings will be forfeited.
That is what happened to my earnings here coz I registered 3 years ago but wasn't that active. I just came back 4 months ago and found our that I lost my earnings due to inactivity.
