Poor Kid! =(

The picture of the couple is not what I`d call a picture of nice people, although I probably sound prejudiced. But I did not like at the way they stare. I cannot understand why those people have their kids. And if they do, why don`t they give them for adoption as there are so many nice children who would love to have a baby. I hope they get them and let them rot in jail

So who were these two they are looking for? This is so sad seeing and hearing about abuse to young children. I hope they caught whoever did this to him, even the mother as well. How could you let this happen to your child, it's obvious signs.

I can never understand why any mother would do that to their child either. Or anyone for that fact it could have been the guy too. That is so sad that this was done to the little boy. I hope they find the two people that did this and start asking questions and get to the bottom of it. And whoever did it to the little boy I hope they get punished for what they have done.

I haven't a clue at all how there are people that are such monsters that they are able to hurt their children in this way. I know that I would never be able to hurt my children (or any other child in the world for that matter)like this. I believe that children are a gift from God and they should be cherished in every way. I hope that they are able to find these people and that they will be punished to the highest extent of the law for what they did to the child. In addition to this, I also hope that this child is able to be placed with a family that will treat him as I believe a child should be treated.

I'm 29 years old, and I don;t have children. This type of thing really upsets me, and I wish it was mandatory for people to take parenting classes before they even have kids! (I think it should be law world wide) There are a heck of a lot of bad people out there that are able to have kids, and so many good people out there that aren't able to have kids. (I'm one of those good ppl that has infertility) Makes me wonder why God grants such a blessed bundle to those that don;t deserve it, and never allows those who DO deserve kids never to have them.. Don't get me wrong, but there are still a lot of good ppl out there that do have kids, but the bad really need to be sterilized....

Why do people do things like that? They have to be plain sick.

This woman is not a mother! She just birthed a baby. A true mother does her best to protect her child. Granted , some don't know how to discipline without hitting but they can learn. But this wasn't just a bad discipline session, this was straight out abuse.Now a baby is scared for life. So sad.

This is very sad. I don't see how anyone not a mother a father or any person in life could ever hurt a child. This is just wrong. I hope they find the couple put them in jail and throw away the key for life. I hope that boy gets better and gets to be with people that love him and will take care of him. The people that did this to him are nothing but trash.

I hear to many of these stories! I wish people who are not ready to have kids would't! If they do at least have the common sense to give the child up for adoption,if they don't want th child! People like this do it for lots of reasons. From taking their frustration out on th child to doing because they were abused growing up! Whatever the reason it is wrong and people need to pay for this! I hope this child is never given back to the mother!

Dear LovingMyBabies Knowing that you are a loving mother yourself, I do understand how ugly feelings this news would have brought for you. The parents in this discussion (ms. jessica and mr. roland) seem to be an extended version of parents who are bad. maybe they had some other intentions, but whatever, these motives are ugly and should not have happened. i even read a few months back, that a mom killed her baby only because she was too addicted to FB and the baby kept crying as it was neglected. such incidents are becoming more common these days because of many reasons - mostly psychological and then financial(I mention financial because in Indian scenario, where there is lot of poor people, we do read about poor farmers who kill their complete family and themselves too just because they were unable to repay their loans or even unable to feed or take proper care of their families). And also, on the link, Mr. Roland is NoT the biological father of the baby. So that might add to some more complications for their reasonings.

That's so tragic. My heart breaks whenever i read, hear or see something on the news about child being abused by their own parents. I really can't understand how they could be too mad to hurt their very own flesh and blood.

Very sad incident... I wish i could help, We have to respect others if we do not respect others then others will also do the same with us. But i do not understand how mother did with his child?? That is so irritating me, And i think mother can not do such time of things with their children. I love my mother and i believe that my mother can not do such things with us. And i pray that God never give such type of mother to any one.

Hi friend, sad to hear about this, i feel pity for this kids. I wonder why the mother did this great unfair to her kids? In this modern days mothers are very different and doing this kind of things. Hope the kids will get well soon and i will pray for them

I could never do this to a child. As I read that I felt for the child. I was a victim of child abuse for years until I finally got out. I am hoping this child is forever away from the two of them because it is not a safe environment and he needs to be in a better place. My prayers are going to him.

OMG! My first reaction is always to call people like this cuss words! Such people are beneath contempt! I simply cannot understand how a person can harm a child!! Never! can understand it..

I don't understand how people can do that. It is so sad. I hope they find them and lock them up for a very long time. I really wish they could do the same to them that they did to the child.

hi LovingMyBabies I have a hunch the mom was abu sed too as she looked so scared and i wonder why she would have a boyfriend who would abuse her ahd her child.how could she hurt her o wn son . He is so cute and so defenseless. I hope they are caught and brought to justice. no mom should ever hurt her own child ajnd what kind of a woman would love a man who helped her hurt her own child. these people ar mentally ill. yuck how horridl

The picture of the mother looks so much like my mother at that age, the blue eyes, skinny body and brown hair. It is creepy. They are sickos. I wouldn't doubt it if most of the abuse was all the mother's doing, but just on the grounds she resembles another abusive person.

Wow who ever did this to this child should be put under the prison.thats so sad that anyone can harm a child like this just so evil

I dont understand parents who can hurt their child in anyway. If the mother had past abuse issues people should have been closely watching the family to make sure things like this wouldnt have happened. I feel so bad for that child. He is in my thoughts and prayers. Hopefully he will be better soon and will not be returned to his mother!!!
