Whats a great homemade cookie recipe? I have no ready made mix and thats all I am used to making? Also maybe a great and healthy one. I am pregnant and my 15 month old son doesnt need much more sugar than he already gets from the tons of fruit that he eats. I really like my dads carrot cake cookies however I have no carrots so that won't do. O yea also I live far away from the grocery store and as I mentioned being pregnant and having a young child going to the store by myself is not an option.

There are so many basic recipes for cookies. Like oatmeal, sugar, or brownie-type you can make in a big bake pan. I used to do this and freeze them for snacks for myself to take to work and for my daughter. You take carob(healthy type of chocolate), coconut, oatmeal, applesauce, wheat flour, soy flour, soy milk, honey, and whatever else you like. Put in a baking pan and bake at 350 for 20=30 minutes.
Here is a basic pan cookie recipe. All you need to do is add some these healthy additions to make some yummy treats:

I like to make Oatmeal cookies which is very simple and easy to do. Some times I buy the mix and just add the butter and eggs and other times I just take my own oatmeal and do it myself. With oatmeal you can add what ever you want into the mix like fruit or if you want some with chocolate chips you can do that or rasins. I don't like rasins so I don't make them with them and when I was pregnant with my second that is what I did with my daughter since I was pregnant with her brother from the time she was 10 months old till she was 18 months old.
