I am also new here and I am not too sure about how many you have to make because I don't think there is a specific number. You are paid based on referrals and the quality of your posts. If you make a post that is very high quality you will get more than if you make a post that is something like "You have to make 250 posts." Try and comment on everything people say to you in your discussions and you will already have a pretty good number of posts.

There isn't a set amount of posts you have to make to earn $10 here. It all depends on your activity and the quality of your participation. You don't even have to post in discussions to get paid. You could make your $10 entirely from doing tasks for other users if you wanted to.

You're right, the number next to a user's name doesn't tell how much they earn. That is the activity rating. It gives us a general idea of how active each user is. The number will go up when we: -start a discussion that gets either two responses or one response and one comment -post a response on a discussion someone else started -post our first comment on another user's response in a discussion someone else started It will go down if something we post is deleted by Mylot. You will get paid for all of your activity, even if it doesn't increase your activity rating. I see that you only commented on my response here, but you could easily increase your earnings from this discussion by commenting on other users' replies, too. A discussion isn't a discussion unless we work to continue the conversation.

hello guys, thank you so much for all of your replies. yes i think the number of post a member makes does not tell how much earning that person will get. i was just curious that's why i came up with that question. :) well honestly, earning is one of my reason being here. but i also enjoy being involved in discussions specially if it is about my insterests. in fact, i have joined a lot of forums and also have my own blogs. but most importantly, we are all here to enjoy.. so lets just keep posting fellow mylotters. thanks so much for your warm welcome. let us all be safe and blessed. i love mylot.. :)

I feel that too, i'm still hoping to reach my myLot goal although i need just a little cents to get my first earn here. But it really needs effort and dedication on your stay with this site. If you don't have that much of interest with regards to the site, then you won't get more so, just keep on participating and don't count in your earnings that way you enjoy rather than thinking of earning... besides, this is a discussion site and a social networking site also, so. have fun! :D

Hmmm. I thought both of you had managed to reach your payout by now, if not received payments already. Strange!

Wow it is good to hear that at 50 responses you get your first payout. How you did that??? lol Because as you can see may number was 100+++ but still I am far from my first payout. But I am taking my time I am just enjoying my stay here and I like being here even if my earning was too far from 10$.

I think either you did not read the content or misunderstood what the user is trying to say. She hasn't been paid.

i`m also new here about one week ago.. and currently i posted in a discussion 100 plus.. and i think in order to reach that 10$ payout you need an almost a 700 post.. i`m not sure about that.. but it all depends.. so just keep in posting so you will able to reach your payout.. goodluck

I don't know about that but I guess you don't need 700 post to get your first payment here. I myself have already got paid 4 times here and my post are only in the 300+. Here are my exact copied stats: discussions started: 345 discussions answered: 11. So I myself does not know how they rate their payments but at least you might get some ideas with the stats I have just shown. I guess it's just to continue with the site, try to write quality posts all the time, answer all the people participating on your posts, write at least two sentences for each of your participations and the most important part is to enjoy the whole process. Good luck!

Correction: I myself 'do not know' how they rate their payemnts. That's one thing I love about this site is that they are not so particular with gramatical errors

Welcome to myLot! I guess it's better if you'll not count your posts. Just keep on posting your discussions, responses and comments. We are paid by the quality of our posts. Be active here in joining many discussions. The more active you are the faster you can reach $10. Please read the guidelines. You'll learn more about myLot. I don't know if this post might get deleted so read the guidelines to getting your posts deleted. May you enjoy mylotting with us. Happy mylotting.

Unlike other site myLot is not a pay-per-post site. Its a discussion forum. Thus, the amount of money you make here depends on your quality and your activity. The better the quality of your discussions, responses and comments the higher you earn. A response maybe short, but as long as it is useful it will earn for you. The number of posts are irrelevant. Good day!

Whew, we both don't have any idea. Actually, on my first day I gained, .33cents. LOL not bad I thought. I don't know what the qualifiers are, is it the number of reply or posts or the quality of comments and contents. I really have no idea, I just post, if i like the topic it takes long for me to respond and I am really carefully crafting my terminologies and words. If I don't like the discussion I could have very generic and simple comment.
