What do you think about VietNam?

I visited Vietnam this year and I had a really good time there. I started in the north (Hanoi) and I espcially liked the Hoan Kiem lake and the beautiful temple of literature. While I was staying in the Hanoi I went on a day trip to Halong Bay, we sailed around in the area for about 4 hours and the view from the boat was amazing. We also had the chance to visit one of the caves and it was really beautiful. After Hanoi we went to Dalat where we stayed in Crazy House for a few days. It was a very different experience to stay there, but it was fun to try something like that and I love unusual kinds of accomodation. In Dalat we rented a small boat and sailed on the lake and we also visited the Valley of love. Ho Chi Min City was the last place that I visited. I visited the Reunification palace, Chinatown and some pagodas during my stay there. I would have liked to stay in Vietnam longer and visit other places of the country as well, but I was only able to stay there for a short time without a visa, so I would have to visit the other places another time instead.

I haven't yet been there but I would be keen on overland travel from Thailand to China going via Vietnam. I would like to see the cities and beaches in beautiful Vietnam. It seems to have an excellent train line.

I've yet to visit Vietnam. Most of my friends have been to your country and their feedbacks were good. I am anxious to go there and see your beautiful country.
