Despite its success with Chelsea last season, Chelsea has decided to part company with Roberto Di Matteo following the defeat against Juventus last night. I don't know so Chelsea will be eliminated or not yet? Still remember when AVB was sacked, RDM took over and he led The Blues to win its first-ever UCL trophy and seventh FA Cup. The Blues will face a crucial match against City next Sunday. Who do you think will be suitable for Chelsea's manager?I read in a footbal site, there are four names: 1.Pep Guardiola (Former Barca coach is now ready to start again) 2.Avrant Gram (former Chelsea caretaker after Mou left.At least Chelsea was runner up of UCL under his helmet). Now he is with Partizan Belgrade 3.Rafael Benitez. He is unemployed right now.He is a good coach, with UCL trophy with Liverpool, UEFA Super Cup with Inter. However, he sometimes buys the wrong player 4.Harry Redknapp. Former Spurs coach is actually a good choice. However, I am not sure Roman will choose the Englishman as The Blues coach. What do you think?Or maybe you have another candidate?please share...

Another stunning dismissal from Roman Abrahamovic. He is like an autocratic dictator, will hire and fire at will. 8 managers in 9 years, it is really crazy. Anyhow Chelsea has now unveiled Rafa Benitez as the makeshift manager for the interim. I think Roman is waiting for Pep Guardiola to come out of his hibernation (read sabbatical) and till then he will have Rafa Benitez as the interim manager. I think he is competing with Donald Trump to keep using the world "You're Fired!!". Cheers! Ram

I could not agree with you more. I was going to respond to this topic saying that Chelsea's owner seems to always "hire and fire at will". Good thing I make it a habit here to read all responses and comments before I post myself...

Yes, that is true. None of the managers have been financially hurt by working at Chelsea because the termination clause is also with a payout clause. But, the problem is one of reputation. Cheers! Ram

Rafael Benitez is going to be the next Chelsea manager.Personally as a die hard Liverpool fan Rafa going to Chelsea feels like a bit of a betrayal though I think he could do a very good job.In my view he is one of Liverpool's best managers considering how he won the Champions league and got Liverpool to another final.Personally I believe Chelsea were to hasty in sacking the manager, the dip in form wasn't that bad and what they need is consistent leadership as Manchester United have with Alex Ferguson.

Rafael Benitez, ex Liverpool and Inter Milan becomes the coach of Chelsea it`s hard for him sit in the hot position the owner is the type is easily sacked the coach.. the problem for benitez is bringing back the quality or finishing touch of Torres like torres show in Atletico and Liverpool..

I don't know who will replace Roberto Di Matteo, but anybody take the job what was waiting for him. I can't quite understand the sacking. It just quarter of the season and Chelsea are pretty much challenging all trophy. If that is how they treat their manager, I just hope Chelsea will never win anything in the future or maybe out of Champion league.
