Well, a lot of people here are also the members of the article writing site ExpertsColumn. I am also a member there. The people there use Twitter to tweet the articles and get some views. But of late, it has come to light that the tweets are not translating into views. I experienced this many times and so am starting this discussion. Are you also experiencing this? If yes, what do you do apart from tweeting to increase your views through social networking sites?

Several months ago, I found the site ibotoolbox and I joined it. However, due to time constraint, I was not able to continue with site. I decided to log in once again a few days back and I tried to post my article link. When I checked my views in EC. I found out that I got views from that site.
Perhaps you could try it too.
Hope this helps.

Hi Abhi, I do not tweet or promote my articles.
I prefer to let search engines send traffic to my articles.
I think this is more productive.
There are some writers who get in a lot of page views, but their earning is very low. They get less than a dollar per 1000 impressions.
I do not think traffic from twitter or other social networking sites bring in much income, even though it is good to see page views increasing.
