As many are aware, Tomorrow is Turkey Day. The day to be thankful for all we have. Well I've got to remember to get stuffing, if we still have any, when I go to work tonight. Why? The food processor is broke so we can't make dressing that way. So I've been saying it over and over again "Stuffing stuffing stuffing stuffing stuffing stuffing stuffing" just to remind me. Do you do this too? Do you have dressing with your Thanksgiving dinner?

I always repeat it then forget it, so I tell everyone at work to remind me, then write myself a note. We already had our Thanksgiving last month, and now waiting on Christmas to roll around. I hope you enjoy the delicious meal, and family time.

I was thinking about that today, i forgot when your Thanksgiving was but for some reason I was thinking it was last month, I just wasn't sure. We did have a delicious meal. I got up at 9:15 to start helping with the cooking. Most of it was me stirring, adding ingredients, putting things in and out. We have enough left overs for days, we ate earlyish (3:30 pm) and it's now 10:15, thinking of another plate.

Yes, it was back on Ootober for us. We always eat early, then later we are always hungry and end up eating more. But leftovers always taste a lot better, or remaking them to another meal. I love making hot turkey gravy sandwhiches.

I do have dressing with dinner on Thanksgiving. I usually stuff the turkey but this year, I am having it on the side. Speaking of stuffing..I am pretty stuffed right now myself.

I am not stuffed anymore but I sure was. I love dressing yum yum. I may make myself some more here in a few minutes. We have my niece and nephew over, I'm making sure they get to bed here shortly then I am going to decorate a small tree.

Yes, we have stuffing but I've never made it using a food processorl I'm old so I do it the old way and mix it up and stuff the turkey...literally. Then any exra gets co9vered and tosse in the oven. I add ground sausage to mine...it is amazing! Have a happy turkey day!!

My grandmother has her own recipe. Well I guess it's her's. She uses the food processor for the crumbs, I guess it's just wasier to mix. She did it by hand this time with me assisting, I didn't have to get stuffing mix which was good.

First, I wish for you a wonderful happy thanksgiving and I am sure that the stuffing will be wonderful. If I use a boxed stuffing I spice it up a little by adding more seasongs, butter and a couple of beaten eggs before it is cooked. Oh, also a little onion too. Everyone has their own recipe re stuffing and theirn are so many different varieties and ways to do it. Habe a happy time and I hope that you remember to buy the STUFFING

I am going to work a little earlier so I can. There are several varieties to choose from and so I hope there is still some when I go to get it. If not I'll have to go to another store. My grandmother is in charge of the dressing, and she makes good dressing. I've had several different recipes and loved each one though. I am a bit leery though, i want it to taste just like she makes it. Though I think in years passed she's had to use the stuffing mix so it should be fine. Thank you for the happy wishes.

Oh, honestly, I don't like Turkey at all. Only one time, it was long long time ago, my aunt make this Turkey dinner on Thanksgiving day, and the stuffing she made is the most memorable of all. Ever since, I don't taste something like that anymore. I don't really enjoy Turkey dinner though, I rather go out somewhere to have a nice dinner.

To each their own. Turkey has always been one of my favorite things about thanksgiving. I hope you had a good day either way?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well glad to hear about this day and i am sure u have to say it the whole day to remind yourself. ha ha ha. I think stuffing makes the dishes more tastier and delectable. It adds a zing to the dishes being made and i love to eat stuffed chicken that is stuffed with small vegetables and eggs. It is very tasty and i had very recently. I am sure u will have a great time at your dinner. What say?

Well yeah I keep thinking about it to remind myself. I love Thanksgiving dinner. Dressing is a little different, but you have to use stuffing. This will be the first year I pretty much contribute to making the supper. I'm okay with making the sides but the turkey and ham kind of scares me...

I am not making stuffing separate from our Tofurkey, and that came already stuffed. I'm keeping the Thanksgiving cooking pretty low-key this year; I'm not preparing anything too time-consuming or labor intensive. We don't say "dressing" in these parts. Honestly, I've always thought "dressing" to be odd. Then again, I grew up in a household where they called it "filling," which is apparently an odd regionalism.
