Hi mariaperalta.
I love TV series too. I grew up watching FRIENDS and hindi dubbed versions of serials like Small Wonders and so on. They are very important part of our childhood memories. In fact I still love watching them. Recently I completed all the episodes of HOUSE MD. And now I am watching Sherlock. And next I want to watch Two and Half men. These are best for entertainment and lighten up the mood after a hectic and tiring day. Anyways have a nice day ...

I was never a fan of soap operas. But my mother has been watching them for many many years. She still watches them and when her and her sister talk on the phone they still talk about the characters of the soaps like they are real people. Thats strange to me. But is you like them, then thats cool.

Mexican telenovelas were a huge hit in the Philippines in the '90s. Led by Thalia, soap operas like Marimar, Maria Mercedes, Maria La Del Barrio and Rosalinda became a phenomenon. They were dubbed in Filipino. Except for Maria Mercedes, they all eventually had Tagalog remakes recently, which also became hits.

I do love watching soaps too, i guess its a very common among women all over the country haha, maybe the reason is sometimes the scene or the story is somewhat related on our own life. We can relate on howw the story goes, for me its also a form of relief in some stressing situations in my daily life.

Santa Barbara and Another World were my favorites , but now they don't show them anymore where i live. Days Of Our Lives has been a favorite of mine since i was a kid and still is today. Young And The Restless is another i like , but don't watch as much anymore. All My Children i never watched, but i hear its' a good one. So you get American soap operas in Mexico. We get some Spanish ones here but i don't watch them because they speak only Spanish in them and i don't know much Spanish hee hee.

I love soap operas and I grow up watching latina's soap opera starred by Thalia, Gabriella Spanic, etc. I still remember some of the soap operas like Marimar, Rosalinda, Yo soy Betty la fea, Paula & Paulina (about the twins sister who has opposite personality starred by Gabriella Spanic), I remember my late grandma loved this show so much and she was so angry when Paulina was treated badly There were another show that I liked, about a blind girl Esmeralda who fall in love with a rich guy and conflict happen then it turned out that she was the real daughter of the rich family. Watching soap opera is fun and relaxing

i love soap operas too... it is also a big thing here specially if the one who is the lead role is a big artist.. but now a days our soap operas here is a remake of korean telenovelas... maybe because its kinda popular so they make a remake on it.. it also has a good plot so i can`t blame the network for doing so..
