Have you ever thought that a moment in your life could make a great film scene?

I just felt that today. I was really down today, because I was hurt really badly. I was listening to a heart-wrenching song on my mp3-player, a perfect film score/background music material. I was walking in the city (I had errands to do), with all the bright lights in the evening, with the busy city life and half of the people around me walking quickly and happily in colorful clothes... and I was having a dark coat and neutral-colored other items (grey, black, beige, but black was the most stark color in that outfit), walking really slowly and energylessly. And I'm pretty sure my expression was really piercingly and strikingly disappointed, sad and in agony, I felt my eyes a bit watery, but still not crying... I thought that would make a perfect movie shot in a film. Most likely in an emotion drama/dramedy, but more with sarcastic humour... or maybe even in a romcom, but I'm not really feeling romcom-ish today...

I have had several. Some from break ups with girlfriends, one from an argument with my then wife, some at work, some from when I was in the Army and more. I have even had one that in after thought was very similar to a scene in an actual movie where a girl who I had gone sailing with were on our knees in the waves on a beach and we kissed.

Yes, most movie scenes are about life moments in which you can find beauty (even if the beauty of ugliness). All you need is a great director and a great actor :) I felt it often. I even felt that I should be a director to make a movie from an image that I experienced in life. What you described is really appealing and beautiful :)

Yeah, with a great director even the simplest things can be shown as unique and beautiful.

Hi, when we see movies we try to compare them with our life. We become sad with the sad scene because we remember some sad incidents in our life. Or we laugh with comedy or want to love like the movies etc. all the movies are based on emotions in the life. Many incidents in our life can make a great scene.
