Notifications

There are notifications in mylot and I received them regularly.

They are here: http://www.mylot.com/nr/editNotifications.aspx there are also notifications when your friends start new topics for discussions and those are automatically set to 'on' and you can turn them to 'off' by visiting your friend list. Then there are notifications when our posts are deleted but those are 'on' and we cannot turn them off (but sometimes they are late or don't arrive at all).

There are actually several different kinds of notifications that are on mylot. There are notifications that will come to you when someone has responded to a discussion that you've started or replied to a response that you've left on a discussion, you can get notifications when a friend has started a new discussion and you can also get the daily digest. Me personally, I don't really like getting the notifications when a friend has started a discussion because I mostly reply to other people's discussions from my friend's started tab. However, I do like to be able to read from my inbox when someone has responded to my discussions or has left a comment on a response that I've left on a discussion. Additionally, I do love the daily digest because those give me the opportunity to respond to discussions that are popular that I might have missed otherwise.

It took me some time to find my way around here in the beginning as well. I can see that you've solved your problem with the help of mylotters above! Make sure to delete the messages when you respond because if you have a lot of friends your inbox will be a mess from the discussion e-mails!
