I use Hubpages and Blogger to publish posts. The one I find easiest to maintain is the blogger. They are very user friendly and you can actually change background designs so that people who visit do not get bored. I have about 7 blogs now about different topics in blogger. One of them is the "what new today" kind of blog. It just contains my reviews to the headlines of few of the prominent newspapers. This allows you to avoid the problem of finding topics to write about. As I am a Masters student in IT, I also maintain a blog about programming. This blog is the one that gets the most views as it comes under the category of technical blogs which there are not many. The most easiest way to write a blog would be to write about what happened with you in the whole day. It would be like a diary and may not get you many views. It would provide you an ideal start from which to learn.

What type of content would you like to post? Blogger is an easy one to get set up with. Personal blogs are perhaps the easiest, but you could also talk about subjects you are interested in, current events, etc.

I think starting a blog is a good step for having a passive income, because it will give you income even if you are not working there. I have a blog in blogger and it is easy to write or manage it there. I recommend that you should also take one more step to your earning.

Blogging is generally writing about something to you really like or have experienced in your life that feels like it should be shared with others online. To get started, there are many sites to choose from like Triond, Hubpages, and blogger, but like many individuals, you could make one of your own. Hope this helps.

Know what internet blog program suits you: There are many blog programs that offers a multi-writing and content experience that suits your taste, it is up to you if such program/site fits your taste. Know your target audience: This will help you generate blog traffic, and to disiminate information on your blogsite. This could be a simple blog share over social media, or through word of mouth by people who you are acquainted with. Make an edge over other blogs: Know your niche, and know what you want to discuss about. don't jumble contents over your blog but rather, stick to one aim point. for instance, if you want to talk about fashion, then you shouldn't put science content on your blog post but merely put fashion articles over your blog.
