hi ifa
Jackie Chan has always been my favorite. I liked his movies more than those of the Legend Bruce Lee. His movies always had a lighter side too even some of his fight sequences.
Also, he is more popular because of his humanness. I recently read on another website and a discussion here that he has decided to donate all his wealth to some charity and not to his children. This is something very noble and shows this mans humility. Something that is a reason which has kept him going for so long with such a big fan following - all across the world.
And he will remain immortalized in all his works.

Is he really retiring ??
he's one my favourite actors - in fact, everyone in my family lovveesss him - my husband and i have always been his fan and always watched his movies - naturally, our children had grown to love him as well.. but we have to admit - he's aging.. and you can see that some of the injuries which he suffered all these years were pretty 'mean' - most of us, might not even survived or recovered as well as he did...
but i dont think he'll quit entirely.. none of them ever do.. he will forever remain a great action star to most of us.. even 'cameo appearances' or supporting roles will make us go to the movies to catch him.. - even his voice will make us watch his movies - i am sure he'll stay on - just like his best friend and 'big brother' - Sammo Hung...

That's really a sad news. His movies are so entertaining. He's a really good actor and he's very good at stunts. Indeed he will be a great loss to the movie industry.

I am very sad to know that jackie chan is retiring. He is a great actor and does humor very well. It will be terrible loss to film industry.

I read this one at yahoo news just now. It was a great career from the martial arts legend and hopefully, the movie will be a blockbuster to end his career beautifully. I think, his trademark when making movies is that he always perform the stunts without doubles no matter how dangerous it is. Plus, I think all of his movies or most of his movies are funny. This separates him from other martial artists who went on cam.

Yeah, I've seen this online and according to Jackie himself, Chinese Zodiac 2012 will be his last action movie. But he is not retiring, he said he is interested in showing the fans that aside from being a great martial artist and comedian, he can also take dramatic or serious roles and honestly, I am excited to see him take a serious role soon.

Is this for real? Jackie Chan's retiring? Well, he deserves to retire but it will be a great lost in movie industry. I like his acting. He is versatile, he can do drama or comedy and he is a really good action star.

Jackie Chan's movie that I've just recently watched was Shaolin. But he's not in the starring role; more of a supporting one. The movie stars Andy Lau and Nicolas Tse in the main roles. It's a nice movie. Despite the small role Jackie Chan plays in the movie, his presence is really felt. It's sad if he decides to retire.
