I just saw a photo of Natalie Portman who had a bald hair. At that time she was starring in the movie called V For Vendetta and she had such a bald hair. I appreciate to her behavior a lot. Since she is a pretty actress and the hair means a lot for her. Today the technology and makeup is advanced and perhaps she didn't have to cut all of her hair. But she still do so and she is very professional. Be sure it would save a lot in the budget of this movie.

Anne Hathaway cut her hair short and lost a lot of weight for Les Miserables. Actors and actresses like her can set good examples for others. And actually she likes her short hair. So I guess it's a win-win situation.

I feel Anne Hathaway looks older in these few years.

Anne looks so ghastly thin and unhealthy in the trailers that I have seen her in for Les Miserables. I am sorry she has decided to keep her hair so short since I think she looks much better and not as old with longer hair.

Yeah, long hair does make her look younger. But to tell the truth, I like her short hair, too. It makes her look more decisive.

These are the kind of professionals that would do great in their career. They are so passionate with acting that they could just care less of their vanity. To be able to do the things Natalie and most actors do takes a lot of courage and dedication to their profession. I remembered the preparations she did during the Black Swan where she practically breathe and lived like a ballerina.

Then you should go find a recent picture of Charlize Theron who did the same thing for her upcoming role.

Most actors would do anything to get a part if they think it's worth it. The actors who composed the army in the hit movie 300 trained extremely hard for months just to get in shape for the shoot. That takes massive amount of effort to do so. It's not about the money anymore, it's also about the fame. If the movie can launch their name to stardom, it would easier for them to get another job. They know that they don't have a stable income that's why they try very hard to pursue a contract, and a movie that would give them their big break.

Some actors even need to pull on weights or lose weights in a short time to meet the movie character.

It wasn't only Natalie Portman who did the same for a movie. I remember Demi Moore getting herself bald, too when she did the movie, "G.I. Jane". Actors like them do set good examples to new comers in terms of professionalism. They will do whatever it takes just to make a good movie and at the same to make their acting better and more believable.

Unfortunately the movie G.I. Jane didn't make Demi Moore much more popular.
