What principle? What makes you think people have principles? BTW what you might call hateful can be the trigger to many to survive! There is nothing wrong with that feeling if it makes you work hard to reach your goals, to make something out of your life. This is what we call: survival of the fittest! And if you look around you, you will notice that especially those who fight are the ones who rule the world and are succesfull.

We usually come to this situations especially in relationships or even though to your best friends and friends. No one never get jealous, no one ever felt hatred. But one thing we should always remember is that we should think what is the thing that make every thing in a wrong way. What we need to solve this problems is that should take our silence and think all the wrong things that happened. That's the reason we have the word HAPPINESS. We should enjoy every moment with the people we love. APPRECIATE all the things they do and THANK them for all the good things they done to you.

I see why people are "jealous & hateful." And it's not because "they are evil" or "something's wrong with their souls," it's because there's 'something wrong' in the interaction between their environ & themselves. 'Whose fault it is' (other people's, God/Allah/FSM's, their own) doesn't really matter. (Heck, the name of the Old Testament's God--the very-nature of man before grace has a chance to cool man's reactions--IS "Jealous!") What matters is that you see the root cause of their jealousy, and that you--if you cannot mend that cause--blame it on 'itself' (or "the rain--, yeah-yeah" ) rather than think they are the root-cause themselves. That will help them see it.
