Which is more painful?? Before wedding or After it?

Which is more painful or worse: knowing your fiancee/fiance died a day before your wedding or knowing that he/she died a day after your wedding? Sorry if I asked this kind of question, I just heard this news from a friend whose fiance died a week before their wedding... Which one do you think is more excruciating to know?

It's a very strange question. It's painful your fiancee/fiance die, no matter when. I really don't think that the moment matters.

In my contemplation, both doleful situation are excruciating because your partner is gone after or before the wedding. There is no such thing for me to compare if what is most painful between the two. :)
