Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It's just after 7 am and I"m having my coffee and waiting to hear from my son about what time they are picking me up. I'm having dinner at his house and it's going to be noisy and hectic with my 9 month old grandson just starting to get around. It's just starting to get light out and I love the peace and quit of early mornings. They also invited a couple they know to have dinner with us and they also have a 9 month old son. I'm so used to being by myself with my 2 cats that this is going to be a very noisy day so much so that I might not even put my hearing aids in! Is Thanksgiving a noisy time at your house or where your going for dinner? Do you take advantage of the early morning to just be by yourself and nice and quiet?

I hope you can enjoy your thanksgiving day. In my country we did not celebrate this day, but I think its a good culture that have a day to thanks to each other.

The change of pace will be good for you as you enjoy the fellowship of being around your kids and their grand kids. I know you are most probably back home by now. You can always just stay a couple hours and have them drive you home. Unless your talking about a longer distance.

I am always nice and quiet, only the crickets here have the right to make noise at night. and happy thanksgiving. Enjoy your family. Have fun.
