Got the infusion this morning

I had taken the colonoscopy medication last night, I did run a few times this morning to the bathroom. But was fine during the infusion, I got half the dose, and feeling alright right now. I even went to work, which is a bonus and means I dont have to find a way to make up the 1 day. I did feel a little dizzy earlier, but feeling alright right now. Let's hope it stays that way.

I feel sorry for your illness, and I defenitely hope that you will stay like you are right now for quite a while :) It was good that you managed to go to work, most people arren't strong enough to do that when they feel like you did. You are a very strong person, and I hope you will stay just as you are :)!

I had originally got my shift covered as the last infusuion I felt horrible. But I feel rather fine right now, but I also have to fast for the day as I have a colonoscopy tomorrow.

Hi Ricki when most people are trying to get to the big dinner, you are have a uncomfortable procedure done..But why did you have to have an infusion??? I am sorry you are not feeling well but I hope that as the day progress you will feel better...

Oh ok, I forgot you are in Canada...but I am hoping you are feeling better soon... I wasn't aware you had an iron deficiency..I did see people getting that as I was there taking my chemo... The colonoscopy should not cause you any pain....

We actually already had Thanksgiving (ours is different than the US), it's back in October. The infusions for the iron, mine is very low, and they have to pump it through me with an IV. But last week I had a severe reaction to it, and I was a little nervous of getting it again, as I have a colonoscopy tomorrow morning.

sounds like the half infusion is working for you better than the full one did. hope it keeps up for you.

I think so too, I feel a little light headed but that could be because I cant eat for 24 hours.

Glad to hear that you are feeling alright. It is a good thing that you were still able to go to work. It can be hard when we need to make sure that we have that income coming in somewhere. Hope the rest of your day goes smooth.

Agree, it's more stressful thinking about where the money would be coming in as.

It would be nice if we could get other things like that done and still have money coming in. It unfortunately doesn't work that way. I would like to get an emergency fund going because we never know what could happen. Savings does lighten the load. I need to have more money coming in as well though.
