This one thing I don't like to watch TV with my mom, because whenever she saw the exciting part of the show, or movie, she will make a big comment, or keep on talking about it. But I am still watching it, and I want to be able to hear what they say in the TV, not her as narrator, or her opinion about it yet.
Sometimes, I also avoid to watch movie with a friend of mine too, because he would keep on talking constantly, distracting me from focusing on the movie itself. Do you like such people around you while you are watching Television, or movie?

I have two of them at home. Whenever I watch television with my mum,
she will become the narrator and start talking about it until I can
not concentrate on the movie conversation and at times missed the
important dialogues. Another person is my husband who use to move
around and block the television screen. At times he will get excited
and relate it with other movies and we begins to lost concentration.
That is the main reason I prefer to go to the cinema to watch a movie
rather than watching it on dvd.

haha i can understand that, even though its not a big issue but we tend to get serious sometimes but lately realize it was not so important. Yes some people starts narrating what they watch , may be it happens unknowingly and they don't realize that they are actually disturbing others.May be they have fun like that.

i understand what u feel because i hate such kind of persons too. it's so annoying because u won't understand what u are watching because they are too noisy talking about it like they already know the whole story of it. sometimes it's better to watch a movie or any show on TV alone.

I too do not like the idea of having a person beside me who is always making a comment when I am watching a movie. For one, it takes out the thrill most especially if the person tells me what happen next. On the other side, when someone is talking while I am watching, I cannot concentrate and surely will not be able to comprehend the whole movie.

Hi friend, it is really annoying and irritating if some person giving this kind of comments while watching an interesting show, i always hate such kind of people, luckily no one in my family in this sort. Some times my son will cry in a louder voice while watching the TV, it will disturb me a lot and my wife will take care of him and control his activities

Hahaha! we are both the same thing... I like to watch and listen the conversation of the people involved in the show and I easily get annoyed if somebody makes a comment of it. Well, it is not my mother. She doesn't comment while watching movies or tv show, it is my husband. He has all the comments in the world which I annoyed most of the time. Now, I watched the tv alone or movie, sometimes with my kids.

was the director of the film sometimes she also fight on the bad guys saying bad words.
I just let her be on were she is happy.

On this topic I have to agree with you. My girl friend does the same thing to me when we watch TV or a movie. She always has to start asking me questions or make a comment. I like to watch, a movie especially, without anyone talking so that I can get into it and under stand it.

hi,
Same with my mother, i don't watch TV with her. I mean commenting while seriously watching the TV is disturbing at least that's how i feel. Her kind of interest and mine are totally different so we never watch TV at the same time , That's for good.

That's kind of the same thing with my parents, only my dad seems to want to commentate the news. Like if the newsman was saying "the traffic is bad for driving today," my dad would be like "WELL DON'T DRIVE! WHO'S STOPPING YOU?" and he would go on a big commentary about how stupid people are. Or if there's something he hears and doesn't like, such as sports, he mutes it and goes "who care?" and has to commentate on why he thinks all sports are so stupid.

Yeah same like me to. When i watch movie or drama in television with my mum or grandma they always keep talking especially my grandma. Even i not watch that drama she always talking and tell me a story of that drama. When i asked her about what happen in some scene she will say i dont know. How come she dont know if she watch it? But when i not interested to watch she can tell me a story in that drama from a to z.

that is really true.. most of the time i watched television alone because i don`t want someone talking while we are watching i want to focus on what i am watching and i can`t do that if someone is keep on talking.. actually my mom is always like that too.. she keeps on talking or even making some stories.. so i`d rather be alone watching...

I like to be quiet when I am watching a movie, and focus on the plot. This is how I enjoy it! If my friends keep commenting I get lost in the plot and in my effort to explain it to them, I loose my interest in the rest of the film. Same happens with the TV, that's why I go to the other room if it's too crowded in the big tv. We have a small one there but it's better because I can watch my shows and listen to everything!

I don't like them too, but sometimes I also can't help commenting on the shows we watch. LOL. I'm also open to other peoples opinion if they were asked to. But if not and being annoying well, that's the time i'll tell them, "wait im watching here!" haha.. Then they'll just stop talking!

I don't mind if people are speaking when I am watching some show on TV or a movie that I have already seen. Basically I watch TV very less. But if I am watching a movie that I have never seen earlier and during that period someone keeps talking, I really get irritated and angry.
