This morning upon my travel going to the office, I ride at the front front set on a PUJ vehicle since all sets at the back were fully occupied. During the midst of our travel, i always heard a mobile ring tone and it makes my ears vigilantly locates where the sound was originated. However, upon seeing at my backseat i nowhere to found. In awhile, one of the passenger picked the phone (Samsung Galaxy Note) which was inserted at the side part of the front chair and give it to the driver. After a few seconds, another incoming call is ringing then it was answered by the driver, and it was the owner of the mobile phone crying and begging to return the same. As my impression to the driver he is very honest and eager to return the lost item to the owner. Then, I ask him if how many times that he encountered such instances, he honestly replied that it was his 10 times to found lost variety of items left in his vehicle and all such things he found was return at the owner's custody without him asking any rewards from them. He sometimes given a big amount of cash in return of his being honest when he found a wallet containing hundred thousands bills. But he refuse to accept, and he said just buy me a piece of bread and water ma'am because when i found your wallet it will not carried out rewards for those who can find it. My obligation is to return what i have found to the real owner. The owner once told him "God will take the rest manong for you kindness and honesty". With this, we never undermine those people such as like Manong MARLON AMOROSO bearing plate # NXY 613 - Libertad Blumentrit route...

This is a very inspiring story and a one of a kind great encounter with a person with golden heart Gilmegans. They are few to find nowadays because of the hardship in life. I think the ration is 1:20, in a group of 20 persons we can hardly find the one who is honest. This kind person is one to be recognize for the public to know that there are still angels in the outfield. A great role model from a public servant who is not tempted by the need of wordly things and all in his heart is kindness and belief that at the end of road we all undertake to travel there is the everlasting life happiness reward awaits. Thank you also for your healthy opinion with regards to this issue Ma'am grace147. Yeah, it is true that very rare honest people in this present world today due to poverty and economic situation that thwart to its progress. Few of them are sturdy enough to hold their customary principle and ideal beliefs of honesty and sincerity among themselves which is in line to the will of God. This kind of person plays a big role in reviving and maintaining the code conduct that enshrined to the law of God and law of the land, wherein most of us set aside such beliefs and blinded with worldly interests and other forms of disreputable and immoral act.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. I was simply moved and touched with the gesture of that driver and i think we need many of such people in our society who can redefine the word Honesty. He could have utilized the wallets and mobiles for his own self but he has always stick to his morality and honesty and i am pretty sure he will be blessed by God always. he is a real inspiration for all those who find pleasure in cheating and deceiving people.

Appreciated a lot for sharing your opinion subhojit10. Yes, i myself was drag to my emotion while hearing on his narration. A simple and ordinary person who are striving hard just to surpass everyday needs on his family, but despite of all he got from variety of lost items, he would still stood firmly on his honesty in which very seldom/scarce of people nowadays has obtained such kind of character. With his sincerity, I decide to get his name including his PUJ plate number and i told Him with your ideal act Manong, i will post your story of good deeds in any social sites for the awareness of everybody that even if how lowly/poor the others think and classify of your status in the society, still it will never matter because what matters most is the sincerity and honesty of a pure heart to a person. A true person is measured by his deeds and not on his standards.
