How do i love thee? Should we count the ways?

Today marks the 20th year of married life, blessed with 7 sons. Wife asked, kind of a reassuring question quoting, "How do I love thee?" Well, i said, "Start counting then"... and she sort of embraced and whispered, "No need. I'm not good with numbers" LOL! I felt so blessed being able to sustain such a blissful marriage all these 20 years, and very thankful for having a wife, though we're a decade apart in age, still complimented in way that i would really appreciate and make me feel loved. How about you mylotters?

I don't think that there is a need to measure just how much you love a person. What should matter most is that you are in the same "wavelength" in thinking and in feeling towards each other.

What is immeasurable could not really be measured, and with that, i guess sustaining affection and that feeling of being content and appreciated are things to consider. And surely, the complimentary part, i mean two beings as ONE, would be enough to bind or bond for us for life.

Thanks. Indeed a blessing that we're able to surpass going through life's ups and downs.
