Everybody's enjoying the holidays, but us... :(

It's Thanksgiving in the US, and since my husband's company is servicing US customers, they also get 2 days off, which means, it'll be a long weekend. So it seems like we're also enjoying the holidays here in the Philippines. Most of the guys have planned vacation trips in and out of the country to make the most of this long weekend. However, we just can not.
My daughter's exam week extends until Saturday, and of course, she can't miss that for anything. And, my father in law is in town for his eye check up, so my husband has to accompany him since yesterday.
We only have the whole Sunday to ourselves, so we'll just try to enjoy what's left with our usual Sunday activities.

but it's great that he's available for his father, isn't it?
and bonding doesn't always have to be out of the country. what matters is that you're all available at the same time, relaxed and enjoying yourself, even if it's just at home talking, playing with the kids, watching movies while eating pizza and ice cream.

You're right. We did enjoy the long weekend, in a simple way. We went to the park and strolled around and we ate pizza in front of the seawall. The park is right in front of the seawall, so the fresh air is great of the kids and for a stroll.

Thanks for making me feel better.
Yes, I cooked for lunch today and husband was so happy.
It'll be 4 days and nights for us to be together most of the time. We'll go to the park later this afternoon, and if the weather allows, perhaps we'll go to the beach tomorrow.
