christmas song...do you still play it in your house?

I`m a shower singer and from the beginning of each December my favorite shower song is "Joy to the world". It seems to me that that song has all the meaning of Christmas and even though it`s not a song in my native language, I am happy to have learned it.

Before and after the Chrismas, one of my American colleagues in the same office played Christmas songs. They are pleasant to listen to and I love to listen to those songs he played in the office. The most famous ones I know are Jingle Bells and Merry Christmas to You. They are classic songs to me.

I love Christmas music at Christmas time. I like it because it puts me in a festive mood. I know some people like traditional Christmas music but I like the more contemporary kind. I have a few Christmas songs on my iPod that I can listen to anytime of the year. I usually play Christmas music while we're putting up Christmas decorations.

I love to play these songs during Christmas season. Even though there aren't any new Christmas songs but listening to the popular ones again and again are so nice to hear. Jose Mari Chan's songs were really great and his voice is so soft and good even though he doesn't have that great voice. Belated Merry Christmas to you!

I have no problem playing christmas music in my house around this time of year. I have always done that and especially with the kids and my girl friend. It is always fun when decorating.

Hi asliah! Ever since, Christmas songs are really my favorite. Because this is my favorite season in a year. Aside from the classic songs, I also like the songs of Jose MariChan, Perfect Christmas, I am not sure of the title. The lyrics goes this way...My idea of a perfect Christmas is to spend it with you. I can't say I dislike Christmas music, but I definitely don't love it. It's so overplayed here that by the time Christmas actually rolls around, we are all sick of it. The malls have been playing it since October.

I have been playing Christmas music since Thanksgiving afternoon. My tree will go up tomorrow and I will be decorating the house this weekend. I wish I could stay home tomorrow and decorate all day today, but we have to take the car in to get the tire fixed (we are under warranty so we do not have to pay for it) then we can come back and decorate until we go to a craft fair then off to go grocery shopping. Sunday I should be able to finish decorating. Yesterday I played the jingle bells song with the barking dogs and my girl cats ran away and my cat Smyles climbed into my lap and hissed at the computer screen it was so funny.

I will really miss the Christmas song because there is no Christmas here in Thailand, I miss everything stuff that involves in Christmas. I can really feel the essence of Christmas when I read the discussion. Merry Christmas to all. :)

Of course, I do love to play Christmas songs. One of the thing which we can show that we praise God and we welcome him on earth is playing those songs. Those songs are very inspiring and very heart warming. Me myself, always playing Christmas songs and it helps me to relax.

Yes, I do love listening Christmas songs, it reminds me of my homeland and family. How we celebrate Christmas, through listening to it, it lessens my homesickness especially this holiday.

i love listening to christmas songs especially in the morning,it gives me the feeling of happiness.but now,since i am far away from home,i try not to listen to those music coz it makes me feel sad that i cant celebrate christmas with my family.
