So what is everybody up to for this Black Friday, which is today? Are you going to go out, or stay at home watching everybody running around? I'm not gonna watch anyone and stay home. I don't have many to buy for this year. Who do you buy gifts for at Christmas? I don't think I can afford to even send my cousin a gift from Fl this year. There have been times they sent stuff but I couldn't send anything back. They of course have money though, a few businesses and a few homes down there. I wish I could visit them but they probably wouldn't be used to my company.

I stayed home. Too nuts for me. Mostly my immediate family and some friends. If I have money I buy stuff. If I have time, I make stuff. Only one year that I didn't have money or time. I had been in a car accident. All my money went to gas to go to Drs. All the time, I was at Drs, resting or doing things to stay out of pain. Try youtube and some of the craft sites. If you have no $, but you have time. Now I wait at the Drs. so long that I have time to make things.

Good choice, you are probably smart to make things rather than buy them. I hope the Dr's appt slow down alittle for you as well. There is always a long line in front of me when I go as well.

I hate shopping on black Friday there are too many people pushing and shoving. I never understood why people stand outside the night before to wait for these sale prices and the stores only have a limited amount of an item on hand. I wait until the first week of December to shop and shop during the day when it is not as crowded. Randy has a foot condition where he cannot walk for long periods of time and he uses a scooter to get around on. I have a list of what I need to buy and how much I am spending on everyone. Money is hard on many people and it has been for me as well, but I am doing the best I can. I am making a few homemade gifts and am hoping that this will help me save as well. I will be working on my earrings and will be selling them as well.

I don't care for the pushing and shoving either. A few or so times a year a thrift store I go to has a 50% off sale and I dread going there, there is always a big line in front of us and inside the store I can barely get through the aisles, etc.

I went to the drive thru at the pharmacy, but that's the extent of my travels today. I'm not getting out into the shopping craze.

You have a good plan there, I wouldn't have gotten out to any either.

Well, if you want to know how I spent this Black Friday, I can tell you more or less as a step currently the days of my life. This morning I went to the grocery store for my dearest mother. In the afternoon, me, my mother and my brother, we went by car to the city center to find a gym where my brother would like to sign up for gymnastics. Usually the family outing is scheduled for Sunday. So today was an exception!

Sounds like you had a wonderful day and spent time with your family which is more important than any shopping always.

I am staying out of the mall. I saw from highway, mall parking is full, up to the curb. Line is too long for going in and going out. Finding parking spot is crazy. No way, I will go there. Stay away. Still a lot of sale going on after this until Christmas anyway. No need for crazy shopping.

Good for you. They can be really crazy wild this time of year. Wow the line up you saw, that is why I stay away from those malls. Alot of people going ape crazy over bargains I probably won't be able to buy because they'll be gone by the time I get in there? Not for me. You have to line up over night to get the best bargains and for a diehard shopper that would be fine, but we're all different.

you can sent stuff that your friends give you to another one so that you don't need to buy too much.it is not good if you just receive but not give.

If you have anything like that, yes. But it's not ideal all of the time. I know what you mean, if you receive then you should also give too.

I am staying at home and enjoying myself. We put a little Christmas Decor up and I plan to add a little more and clean here and there as well. I did do some shopping yesterday but only a little. I plan to do all of my shopping online, except for maybe more gift wrap and tape, of course that I will buy at a store. Black Friday's can just be way too crazy, I'd rather stay at home where it's safe.

Same thing I did. I haven't put anything Christmas up yet though, I'm late with that I suppose but there's still quite some time too. Black Friday does get alittle crazy, I agree. I know a girl whose a new footage editor in NY and she posted on her FB wall how crazy it was the other day.

I am staying as far away from any store or the Mall as I possibly can. I just buy for my little family. My daughter and mostly for my grandson. I would just send your cousins a loving note or card and if they didn't appreciate it then they aren't very good hearted no matter the age. I would tell them you wish you could visit them.

I actually went in for my colonoscopy, so right now I could care a less about money and saving for Christmas. I looked at a few websites and nothing interesting or that big of savings. I have to buy for the brats, and buy a new outfit for the Christmas parties I am going to but right now I dont have any money I actually have to buy medication which set me back even more.

I hope the colonoscopy turns up negative for anything wrong. I know I should go for one but have been putting it off. The cost of medication is out of this world, it might just be that I'll only be able to afford that here as well, I'll have to recycle some outfits somehow. I am thinking my cat is in check to go to the vet soon, and that will take some much needed away from my clothes shopping experience, but she is more important.
