I have to admit that I am only eating to survive! I think when I would love to eat I will also like to cook! My mother was the best cook ever a lot of times she was standing behind the oven for two or three hours to cook ! Not for an event at least three times I week. And 15 minutes after serving it was all gone. It was always a waste of time in my eyes. When I became my own kids that had to change and it did! I was very careful about what they eat and was spending much more time in the kitchen! But it stopped after the last one went out of the house. My four girls all love to cook and I admire them! What the hell happend to me? I still don't like to eat and when I get hungry then I fix me a quick sandwich . What about you? Do you need your daily dinner ?

That is one thing that I can't seem to give up: dinner. It is really difficult for me. I prefer giving up on breakfast and I can easily do it. However, since after reading that one cannot go on with the day without eating breakfast, I started eating some even if food don't taste that great in the morning. I think my taste buds are not that awake until lunch time.

They say it's okay to not eat dinner because breakfast is the most important meal of the day. You can eat a heavy breakfast and a okay lunch and you can survive. For me, I eat my daily dinner though. I am thin so I need food to get buff and fatter.

That is right a healthy breakfast is the best what you can do! The only thing what I can swallow in the morning is my pill and my coffee

Hi, I can't sleep on an empty or half-filled stomach, that's how important diner can be. Even if I wake up in the morning after without appetite, I still make it a point to go to bed full and satiated.

I hear that a lot some people are even getting in a very bad mood when they don't get something to eat before they go to bed

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. I know u are not that kind of person who loves to eat and cook but then without food it is almost impossible to live on this earth. Just as u have posted about the daily dinner, i think food at any session be it the lunch breakfast or dinner are crucial for our health and an imbalance in any one of them can be serious for us. We should never skip our dinner although the amount of intake should be less. What say?

Dinner time is not all about eating, this is the time you seat together and discuss issues in the family, ask how each one's day has been, pray together and that's what keeps the bond that binds you as a family strong. in my home I don't want miss such a time and before we eat we first make sure that everybody is home.

I don`t spend a long time in the kitchen, but I`m a very good cook (my family and friends have told me that). THere are lots of complete meals that can be done in half an hour if you have the adecuate pots and other gadgets. I have a pressure cooker and that helps me a lot gaining time, specially for legumes and cheap meats for a stew.
