I am doing my best to mean something to other people around me. In that light seen I feel like making grocery shopping packages to give away to people who can use the stuff. Every time I go out for shopping and there is a action like buy two, get three items, so the last one is for free, I put that free item aside in a box in my bedroom untill I got enough free items to fill up a package for a family. I do while shopping looking out for things for men, woman, children and babies. I also put in some clothing too. The meaning of such a package is to give the people some freedom and happiness in getting a free gift. I also put in the package a letter explaining my way of doing and asking the people who got the package to make one themselves for another family. I just walk up to a house, ring the doorbell and offer my package for free. Its a way for me to feel happy, helping another one around more people should be doing this! I love to hear from you if you like the idea of making packages for gifts and would you be happy with something for free from a total stranger?

Great idea.. so very nice of you to do such a thing. I also take things to my churches homeless center when I can afford to buy extra things on sale here.

It is such a nice feeling to give away a tiny bit of your own comfort to someone in need. I can imagine someone can not buy good coffee because of the low income they have, in that way I prefer to give a one time gift of a bag of good coffeepads into the package and I for myself take a second brand for my coffees. If you can do it, there is also a need of new clothing for people, it doesn't take much to buy a baby jumper with a pair of trousers, or a bikini for a woman in sale, or pair of socks for a men, or simple things like toothbrushes accompanied with toothpaste. The variety of possibilities is endless, as long as you can imagine someone could need it, you can give it!

I think that's a good idea. Anybody could use some grocery items, especially if they have a family who also have some needs that they are finding hard to meet. It may be just a small gesture but t would definitely make an impact to a family's life, evenif it's just a few days' worth of necessities.

Nice idea and I am sure you will have more blessings to come.
I always do my share as a volunteer for charity works.
I have been working with charities for 16 years now and I know how does it feels helping other people.
