It is too early to compare pujara with the wall. No doubt he has the temperament to stay at the wicket for hours but you have to admit that Asian pitches are batting paradise. Let him travel outside Asia and his temperament and skills will be tested. I hope he performs there as well and India do get a replacement for Dravid but it is going to be a real tough job for pujara to replace dravid. I don't think he should be thinking that he is in the team to replace dravid or to match his class. If he thinks this way hi performance will be affected and he might not be able to handle the pressure. He should play with a calm head and keep on performing the same way.

Yes, Pujara should focus on his natural game, and own ability rather than falling into any kind of a comparison trap.

So far Cheteshwar Pujara has looked good, but he would have to show over next 2 years at least as to how good he is on different pitches, and in different conditions, especially outside sub-continent.

With his performance in the last two test we can say that he is a good replacement for Dravid. But we can't say it now as he have played only seven test matches. Therefore in my opinion this is not the right time to compare him with the legend - Rahul Dravid. My opinion is that give more chances to Pujara, give him more exposure and let him grow. The unnecesaary comments and the fame will only ruin his career. Let him enjoy his career and after some long time if proves his mettle then we can compare.

Pujara Today's play is really very impressive and he is playing very well in this series and yes friend he playing style is looking similar like dravid and his batting order is also same and the good thing is that he also have patience that dravid had then i want to say that Pujara has all the things needed to become dravid but is very new player right now so i think first he have to get some experience then he can easily replace dravid .

I fully agreed with you friend. This is start for him, let him play outside asian pitches then we can say that whether he is really a replacement for Dravid or not.

Even I want to see his performance on England/ Australian /South African pitches, where bowl bounce & swing a lot. Dravid for India played superbly in those conditions...

Pujara is playing superbly, and he has good control and temperament as Dravid is having.
But this is Indian pitch,he need to show thins on the foreign pitches, then no doubt he can be a good player like Rahul.
The Australian and European pitches will be a real test...

So far, Cheteshwar Pujara has shown good talent and patience when playing for India. I have not watched him much, so am not sure if he has any big technical flaws. I would like to see how he plays against Aussies in Australia as well as at home. Also, we need to see how he comes up against Sri Lanka, NewZealand etc at their own grounds. Yet, I can see him donning Indian team colors in tests for quite a long time.

Yes, I do believe that Pujara Is perfect replacement of Rahul Dravid. He is having good temperament and technique as same as Rahul Dravid.Only thing he has to maintain his performance in future games. He has to perform consistently.Still long way to go for him in test cricket but we can say that we got fair replacement of Rahul Dravid.
