A few years back my sister bought this hot chocolate machine for me. You basically add milk, and a chocolate bar. But its much creamier and richer than the bottom hot chocolate mix.
I decided since I have a few chocolate bars set aside, I would make myself one. I did mint tonight, and put whip cream on top.
I thought it was so delicious, especially with the snow we have been getting.

I remember Grandpa Bob talking about making hot chocolate with chocolate bars. I think he out it in a cup and nuked it, but not sure. I bet it is awesome. I live Nestles hot chocolate. Not the regular kind. There is a premium kind that is a powder also, but tastes much richer. I wouldn't do the chocolate bars cause I'd probably like it TOO much.

The ones I get are caramel and the other is mocha cappuccino. But it's hot chocolate. I love it. I can't wait to go shopping again to get some more. I got 3 boxes but it didn't last. I like to add it to coffee and add milk and a sweetener. Yummy!

Please send us some snow, like sometime in the next twelve hours. The hot chocolate sounds almost too rich for me, but I bet it is really good. We are finishing off our Thanksgiving visit to my brother and we have eaten tons of yummy foods. I need to go back to being good now, but I am eating a cinnamon roll from Wal Mart this morning with hot coffee.

These were pretty fresh and moist buns, and I put butter on mine. Later we had eggs and bacon. I am needing another cup of coffee now, but we are on the road.

I add a little more milk, so its not as sweet. But they are delicious and I love hot chocolate. I want to try it with a Reeses cup when I get paid in a few weeks. I dont mind the cinnamon buns from Walmart find they are a little dry, but I would be dunking it in the coffee.

I hate the snow, but adore hot chocolate.I love the mint hot chocolate that you can buy in a packet, as well as in jars and on a cold night some how it tastes a lot better.
My daughter loves the orange hot chocolate that you can buy, she says it tastes like the terrys chocolate orange that you can buy.
I have never added anything like whip cream on the top, but I did add chocolate shavings and that was nice.

Sounds yummy! When it was really cold a couple of years ago I drank some cocoa with marshmallows in it. It was the only good thing about the cold weather. Drinks like that made me feel sooo much better!
You feeling better now after your colonoscopy? You're very brave.
On the 18th December I'm due to see a gynaecologist and I WON'T be happy if I'm not allowed to have a hysterectomy I so desperately want.
I've been on now for nearly a month (and I blame the Mirena Coil I was conned into having over 2 years ago now) so a hysterectomy is the only option for me..well, it better had be!!

I feel much better after the colonoscopy, still a little spasms with the muscles which are supposed normal, and cramps. But thank god they knocked me out, or else it wouldnt of been happening.
Have you tried different birth controls? I know Im on the depo shot which stops everything. But I guess if you want it, and made your mind than thats good. Many end up getting a hysterectomy because of other reasons, or complications.

To be honest, the birth control is not necessary which is another reason I'd like the Mirena Coil taken out. I'm 46 as well and I don't want them going on about HRT (hormone replacement therapy) either. I don't want horse hormone in my system, thanks.
I feel very strongly about the hysterectomy. So much so that I'm prepared to go into debt to have one done privately.

That sounds really good! I don't make hot chocolate very often, but when I do I make it from a mix. My kids love it. I bet they would really love it if I made them hot chocolate like yours. The mint chocolate sounds wonderful! I have never heard of a hot chocolate machine before. Interesting.

Snow? Where are you? We haven't had snow in southern Indiana yet.
I don't have a hot chocolate machine but I do have a microwave in which I can heat up a mug of water and then add a hot chocolate mix. Tonight, we're going to have Candy Cane Hot Chocolate.

That sounds good.
I have some hot chocolate mix here. However, I usually mix it and some milk in with my coffee and have chocolate coffee rather than make straight up hot chocolate. It's the best of both worlds.

I'm so glad to hear that it is you that have been getting snow already and not us. I'm just not ready to have snow yet this year, but they are saying that we might have some light accumulation of snow on Tuesday morning.
The hot chocolate that you are talking about sounds wonderful. I really like to have peppermint hot chocolate, but that is something that I usually just get at McDonalds or Starbucks. When I make Hot Chocolate at home, it is typically something that just comes from a packet.

Hi,
This sounds really yummy. Bailys Irish cream would really sound good in this Hot Chocolate. Where did your sister fined this machine? Whereare you located that it is snowing?I am here 50 miles north of Philadelphia very cold and windy and looks very snowy but not snowing yet. I have seen a few snow flurries and It smells like snow.
Thanks and have a great weekend

Sounds like an interesting machine, well any machine is interesting if it can produce mint hot chocolate. I love sipping hot chocolate and watching movies on a snowy Sunday afternoon. You could probably create the same affect by heating chocolate in a pan, adding some peppermint extract and milk. It would be creamy for sure. The gift sounds like a great one though.

The photo shared by you looks too tempting.I would like to try out the way you have told. Any way hot chocolate is always a welcome break during winter anytime but we do not have slow fall in most of the part of our country...so will not be able to enjoy the beauty of nature you did.

I haven't heard of a hot chocolate machine like you describe that uses chocolate bars to make a cup. I love dark chocolate and mint and if I were offered a cup I would certainly enjoy it. I am not much of a cocoa drinker or a tea drinker because I love coffee and would always choose coffee over another beverage. I envy you the snow. We will be having a cold front drop the temperature into the 20's tonight. I would love it if I woke up and saw snow on the ground.

In the Philippines, Starbucks intentionally offers this once a year. I know that some people do not love the taste but I simply adore it for the reason that I am a mint fanatic. Since I be spending Christmas here in Dubai and on a very strict diet, I don't think that I'll be mixing my self a cup this year. On second thought, I might give myself a gift by drinking a cup or two. Sigh!
