i am a postgraduate in China,my major is HVAC(heating,ventilation and air conditioning),maybe like someone who can get Master of Engineering in Europe countries.i want to know the lastest trendst and papers in my major,so i want to make friends with you,we can share our resources in our major.now i try to read some English papers ,i find it's diffcult to get it.
i think we guys can work hard together,and to be good friends.my English is so so,but i think we can communicate with each other in English.
if you want to learn chinese and learn about chinese culture ,leave it to me.

Welcome to mylot, Yes I want to learn your local language, how? You must be active in here, read some discussion and response as well and try to relate to the discussion and that would help you to improve your english. You can watch also English movies, read some books, it helps though ! :) Have a great day ahead, :)

thanks,if you want to learn my language ,first you can listen chinese songs and movies (such as Leehom Wang,Mayday,Jackie Chan) just like me watch English movies,now i am new to there,i cannot be comfortable with some function of mylot ,later on i will send you some video tutorial or you can search some of them on internet.you may have a lot more fun than you ever imagined.

ella, i watch a lot of Chinese movies.
sure it help me a lot, sometime i don't have to look the subtitle , with few word, sometime i can understand what it mean. 
. but still i just can understand, not speak or write.
i think it really hard to learn on writing.

yes,sometimes the writing part is also diffcult for some chinese,we began learn it even we were in kindergarten.i don't which movies you've watched ,you say that you can understand chinese,you are so great !in china ,there are so many dialects,say dialect it's a very interesting thing in my dormitory,because we four girls come from three different provinces.if you want to speak ,you can listen some chinese songs,then sing along ,try several times may be you can get it!
