Do you prefer a small family or a big family?

Hi, Mine is the small family, I, my wife and my son are only three members. I had to leave my parents due to my job. I lived with them and after marriage and after my son's birth we shifted to new city. there are many advantages and disadvantages of joint family.

You do have to look at the financial situation. With a large family, a large house, a large yard and a large van is required. Then, the health insurance, money for clothes, food, etc. A large family isn't always happier. If the large family is poor, are they really happier? Children from a small family can develop bonds with friends when they don't have siblings to play with. So, it is what you can manage and what you can cope with. And also, what you want - if two children are what you want, then if you are happy, those two children are more likely to be happy as well.

I don't like having a big family. I have three kids and I have three siblings too. My parents both have big families and though it's nice to have relatives around, but I don't prefer to have a big family.

I love large families. Even though I came from a large bio family, and was adopted into a large adoptive family, I sometimes felt alone, so when my husband and I got together we decided on a large family, 2 boys and 4 girls so that I would always have family surrounding me.

I prefer small family we are two sisters and my mom dad. Our family is small and happy. :) I also lived with my cousins and their family its fun to love with them but not always so I like small family.

In my family, as of now i have a small one since we just started to have our own.i have only one child.i would prefer to have a small one thinking that we are just poor.having atleast two kids will be fine.

If we talk about a really close, nuclear family, I prefer a smaller one. In a smaller one, more attention is given to the kids, the parents are not always making the older kids supervise the others (and it's important... if they want to have a child, don't make the oldest babysit him every weekend, don't make them get rid of their plans and friends), more money can go to everything, you have to buy less gifts...

I have big family. In my family i have 6 sister and 3 brother. It a lot of fun if have big family. In my family i am number 8 and the last one is my younger brother. My older sister is 42 years old and my younger brother is 21 years old.I am closer to my brother.If I have a problem I would share my problem with my younger brother. There a lot of good things if we have big family. :)
