Due to the combination of advances in technology, pharmacology, early defection and the development of enhances knowledge and skills amongst health care professionals, previously fatal conditions such as cancer and heart disease can now be much more successfully treated. This adds to the increasing profile of age related and chronic condition. Overall many more people are living with long term illness and more frequently with multiple conditions. There is no reason to believe that this trend will not continue for the foreseeable future.

Did you read my whole statement? This is what I am talking about health care. What's gonna happen for people after 20 years from now?

If I understand you correctly, you meant to say that the combination of advances in technology and pharmacology, serious illness can be treated successfully but many more people are living with long term illness and multiple illness conditions. I don't know but those 2 sentences seems to contradictive to each other, I'm a little confused but what I can understand that you want to say serious illness can be successfully treated but then people need to suffer from another multiple illness. Yeah, I think you can say that since there are nasty side effect in the treatment especially something like cancer.

Due to poverty our people can afford those advances of medical science. We are stil dying. We need so bad the advances in philanthropism any way.
